Finished all races now what?

i pretty much completed all the race events on the map and no new ones are showing up…do u gotta wait for the next season to get new races, championship etc?

in horizon 3 new races were constantly popping up

This games removal of offline championships for each race has killed its offline replay value . There’s no reason to rerun races again without it. Also from what over read this game only has 70 total races while horizon 3 apparently had 140. At this point I’ve just put the game down becuz I don’t wanna just lay through everything then have nothing to do but re run exhibitions for a small reward . They really need to add in championships . I don’t know why it was ever removed . Getting 4 championships a week is garbage

You have not reached the True endgame of Forza until you have completed every race location with Every car type.

Forza Horizon 2!

Looks like it’s time to move onto another game. No point sticking with this when you’ve done everything there is to do. In less that 2 weeks too. Words cannot describe just how pathetic it is to finish a Forza game in less than 2 weeks. Not because you’ve spent 24/7 playing but because there’s that little content.

I will be aiming to max out as many horizon life streams as possible.

I think “finish” is subjective. It’s not like a roleplaying game where they set out to give you 20 hours of content. There’s plenty of other stuff to do, like get all the perks for the cars, collect cars, tune them, created designs, etc. The route creator should open up more possibilities for routes if that’s all you’re after.

No championships. No class based rivals. Route creator won’t fix that. Don’t care about collecting perks, creating designs or anything else that doesn’t involve driving fast in a car on a track. Once all the driving is done the game is finished. With class based rivals the racing doesn’t stop as there’s always another tenth you can take off your best time. T10 learned the hard way that people want content like class based rivals. PG should’ve seen that and not made the same mistake but for whatever reason they’ve done exactly the same thing.

Wait a minute…where did you get the impression there’s no championships? I just completed a seasonal championship.

So a handful of seasonal events is the same as having 70 championships? FH3 had 63 exhibition races and 63 championships. FH4 has 70 exhibition races and 0 championships.

Wrong. I just completed two championships.

Will those 2 championships be there during winter? Or the next season after that? Or after that? No? Then they don’t count.

You should give Adventre a go.

This seems to happen almost every new Forza.

There are plenty out there who want Forza (Motorsports too, not just Horizon) to essentially become a “CaRPG”. SkillUp even said it in his review of FH4.

And with the experience levels, locking rewards to certain tiers, dressing up of the avatar, rarity tiers on cars and equipment, economy, time limited content, prestige system, storylines etc, Forza certainly has borrowed rpg elements and makes people look at it like an rpg to grind at.

We have people saying cars are overpowered for their PI rating and complaining about having no sense of progression (how about getting better at driving in a driving game?) and other nonsense like this that truly does not make any sense in the automotive world.

We have all these peoples approaching Forzas as a game and not a driving sandbox / experience and they approach it as such because Forza presents itself in such a manner.

Go play an rpg if you need a sense of progression that is spelt out for you instead of feeling progress via a set of real skills that you develop over the years.

in horizon 3 it never felt like i ran out of races to do …as soon as i finished a championship or a street race new ones were popping up

i thought it would be the same with horizon 4 but it’s not ??? whats going on?

didn’t they said they are constantly updating the game with stuff to do or something like that?

About the championships: Those were not actually new races you could play as there was a set of fixed routes over the map. like other people told you FH3 had actually less routes to play. The championships only gathered 2 more random routes from the fixed routes to your list and that’s it. You pretty much got fooled because they just didn’t show each event from the beginning!

And about constantly updating the game with stuff to do: DUDE! We have the 11th October! The game came out on the 2nd! How quick do you think game developers can add new content? click on a magic button or what?? ffs…

So yeah if you choose to ignore 90% of the game then it’s the end for you at this point. Congratulations, you can move on with your life now!

If holden’s count is correct above (63 races in FH3 versus 70 in FH4) there’s currently 7 more actual races in FH4 than there were in FH3. And they are allegedly going to add content on a monthly basis. The first such update is supposed to come near the end of October. What all these updates will entail is anybody’s guess - I’m keeping my expectations low.

Worlds apart. I get maybe 2 hr every other night to sink in to " campaign " , then theres constant forzathons…

Did you get the 15m cred castle home OP? Achievements? Every legendary car? Just some suggestions
