Did the finale for the first time last night, and WOW! Loved every second of it, despite an early incident.
Used a stock Evo 6, and a couple of minutes in got hit by a drivatar. Had to do the rest of the event with a bent front wheel pulling off to one side. Took me 19 minutes and 38 seconds and i loved every second of it. It was awesome, and I wish there were more like it. Just one endurance event is way too few. Even if it was just a place your own checkpoints to build your own deal, i’d actually love that.
So what did everyone else think of the finale? I know there are gonna be some ADD types who think it’s too much effort, but i thought it was nigh on perfect!
I would be happy with 12 seasons including 12 finales where you can not pick the same car type twice for the finale.
I do not understand the logic of 2 seasons and then 138 more championships with no structure around them.

Well the logic is quantity over quality they want to cram in as many races as possible rather than structuring it to have more meaning. Even leading up to the final’s it does not really feel like your achieving something.

Was a good finale I enjoyed it but like you said people will complain either way. Some will want more & some would rather none but for me I’m enjoying the game, maybe bcoz I’ve got alot of friends who play it aswel & we have a blast. Full lobby transit race or a mini race in the city is alot of jokes lol

Might do the finale race in a transit, that should be fun. 
The final race is by far my favourite, i’d like to be able to place my own markers and make my own endurance races.
Or at least have to opportunity to choose my own races Inc that one.
I get only having 2 in career. It would be nice option in private freeroam or rivals.
It’d be nice if you could do Rivals on the Finale course.
If you can, I haven’t discovered it.
I enjoyed the Finale tremendously.

The best i’ve figured you can do is all drive to one side of the map, all set your GPS to the same point on the other side of the map, and then drive. Everyone can take whatever route they please, and the first to arrive shouts out on their mic, and then waits for everyone else to turn up. Not quite the same, but a similar principle.

Definitely my favourite race of the entire game. I also love the fact that it includes all types of vehicles as apposed to just your class.
