Remember when Super 7 came to FH4? Not even one year after that FH5 was released. Also leaks of the Backstage returning are making me even more suspicious that FH6 might not be far away. Also the monthly cars are back to “Normal” (4-5 Cars per month) and no car packs for 2 months. This might mean nothing but idk just pointing it out.
Honestly hard to say. We don’t know how much developing Fable impacts the Horizon franchise. IIRC, every Horizon has been announced at a trade show event, and we’re done with that. There is the Xbox preview event in Q1, but I suspect they’ll save FH6 for “not E3” if it gets announced in 2025 at all.
Plus you have to account for the fact that if they plan on continuing the trend of every Horizon being bigger than the last one, that’s going to impact development as well. Also Covid almost certainly delayed pre-development pipelines like location research and photography/photogrammetry.
So you got pre-production delays, added ambition to the project, Fable, and the FH5 content that’s been ongoing. That’s a lot of balls to juggle. Even considering all of that, a 2025 announcement is still possible, all I’m saying is don’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen.
Those are indeed some good points but since we have FH5 for almost 3 years now i suspect they will have to say something about FH6 in 2025 to keep the community engaded so they/we have something to talk about. Also the Fable studio is a sepperate studio (wich still could mean that they brought devs over from the forza studio).
not separate as much anymore .
its all hands on deck and even getting out side studio help to.
but what do you expect form lets using a racing engine for a rpg!
