FH5 Rally Adventure expansion now available

Street racing in Horizon is awful though. Playground ruined the atmosphere by downplaying the illegal element, and the AI are at their most broken because exhibition races are permanently set to Anything Goes unless you go to the trouble of creating a blueprint. I don’t know about you, but I’m not having any fun street racing in Ferrari F355 when I’m being overtaken by an impossibly modded Toyota FJ40 on a 90 degree turn that it didn’t even brake for.

1/3. Because 1/3 of rally events, aren’t they snow or winter road events? Just asking as I’m not into rally that much.

Monte Carlo and Sweden are both winter events, but technically Monte Carlo is on tarmac. Some years it’s snowy, some years it’s clear. Sweden is the only true snow event.

I don’t think there has ever been another snow event. Finland takes place late summer. Some events change around year to year but I believe Monte Carlo and Sweden are the only places that get winter and take place during winter months.

The fandom that gets the most love overall by far by the developers got “left in the cold again”

So the only ones that should get any attention are drifters and no one else, got it.

Just realised that a separate map means a separate Horizon Open matchmaking pool, so multiplayer may be dead after the honeymoon period

I think it all depends on the quality of the courses, I had a great time in the 2 HW Open’s I did but because I got bored of the tracks themselves so quickly I ended up never going back, then after a short time I couldn’t even stomach HW’s 1 seasonal championship per week and it’s remained that way ever since.

Hot Wheels Horizon Open being completely ghosted made it not fun for me, if I wanted to race against ghosts I’d do Rivals.

When I’ve tried hosting sessions with my club, we would struggle to get people into a session, whereas every week the standard map has a full convoy (to the point where it sometimes breaks Horizon Open matchmaking searches).

My club will probably host 1 or 2 race nights on Rally Adventure, and then abandon it for the main map (and the occasional GRID Legends night) until Forza Motorsport releases.

In my opinion it’s not Hotwheels beyond the name. Hotwheels for me is about cars crashing, being launched into each other and flying off track. Why would I want to race clean - let alone ghosted? I want collisions and kills. (That’s the intent of a lot of their products)

I would go back if it was fun but it’s just press RT on an orange surface and try not to touch the walls. That’s the whole experience. Nothing like actual Hotwheels.

I am so happy Mike Brown is gone.

You might like Hot Wheels Unleashed then, it’s on Game Pass.

I just completed it last night, it’s fun.

Thanks for that, but it would have popped me in a game where I try to race clean and feel bad for even car placement to have a place where all that could be thrown out of the window for a bit and just let off some steam.

If the dirt racing is good, I will go back and hope others do too.

I’m a drifter myself and I agree. We have all the drift customization you could ever ask for, a plethora of real life drift cars, an entire drift adventure mode (albeit still needs improvements), and a ton of EventLab drift tracks. I’m not complaining.

According to AR12Gaming, the bash bars are new on the Evo and Focus shown in the trailer.

Not exactly my first choice for rally customization but it’s better than nothing.

Also, the amount of Drift Cars added with the last 3 games was pretty high, you have so much selection now, even cars that aren’t running anymore (Matt Fields’s #777 Silvia), meanwhile, the only meaningful Rallye Cars added in FH4 to 5 are:

The Fiestas
Some Hoonigan vehicles
#1 & #5 Escorts
The Puma having a low-class rallye kit
Merging the previously separate 037 and S4 models together in FH4, giving them both an extra kit
The re-introduction of the 207 S2000
The Subaru ARX
and the two Porsches

Pretty poultry for what is essentially 1.5 of the 3 main modes of the game

NGL…I think drifting is quite possibly the most pointless form of motorsport…but people love it for it’s artistry I guess…guess you guys get a big kick out of dressage as well  but whatever floats your boat.
If it puts you on the same side as me against this tomfoolery PG is putting out there catering to 10% of their car lineup w/ this rally garbage. Then AMEN brother! Smoke 'em if you got em.

I’d love them to add some more cars from the V-Rally 2 roster. That Cordoba.

They could also start with any of Sébastien Loeb’s cars, 9-time Championship winner that quit out of pity
