A Selection of the Best Evolving Worlds
Horizon Realms gives players the chance to explore a hand-picked collection of some of the community’s favorite previously released Evolving World updates.
Get ready to (re-)discover and adventure though these beloved locations while behind the wheel of your favorite cars:
- Stunt Park
- Ice Rink
- Oval Track
- Summer Party
- Neon Airstrip
- DĂa de Muertos
- Winter Wonderland
- Lunar Drift Arena
- Retrowave Highway
- Cars and Coffee
- Stadium Maze
Along with these 11 returning environments, we are bringing the brand-new Stadium Track! You can also race around this Evolving World with the new permanent race route coming to the game, the Horizon Stadium Circuit. You can find details further into this post.
New Dedicated Accolade Tab
A new Accolade Tab exclusive to Horizon Realms will be added to the game featuring 60+ accolades. While most of them are new to this update, you will also be able to unlock previously released accolades tied to the returning Evolving Worlds that are now accessible with Horizon Realms.
Each of the Evolving World locations featured in Horizon Realms includes 5 new accolades to unlock! Find them under the Horizon Realms Accolades tab. You can also find an Accolade for the Horizon Stadium Circuit under the Road Racing tab.
Complete Horizon Realms Accolades to acquire 12 new badges coming to the game. Plus, for the first time ever, unlocking an accolade will reward the player with Forzathon Points! Go for a 100% in every Realm and unlock rewards with your newly acquired Points.
Obtain 4 New Reward Cars
Earning accolades will also score new cars for your garage. Complete unique challenges featured on every Realm to unlock four new-to-Horizon reward cars:
- Lamborghini’s take on a hyper hybrid, the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto
- Stomp the off-road scene with the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato
- The mightiest version of the Exige, the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430
- Ride the king of the Ice Age with the 2022 Hennessey Mammoth 6x6
Two Ways to Dive into Horizon Realms
There will be two different ways to experience Horizon Realms:
Skill Mode
Choose one of the Horizon Realms to enter and try to bank as much Skill Score as possible. Each Evolving World has its own separate Skill Score leaderboard, and there will also be a total Skill Score Leaderboard tallying up all points banked on each Realm – so try to take the top spot in all of them!
Earning enough Skill Score will also unlock new player Badges unique to Horizon Realms!
Free Mode
This mode puts the leaderboards to the side and focuses on players having a good time in their favorite Realms.
Enter on your own or with your friends in a Convoy to explore your favorite Realms, obtain Badges tied to previous content updates, unlock accolades to earn Forzathon Points, and more!
Start Your Engines at the New Horizon Stadium Circuit
Line up at the starting line of a brand-new race route: the Horizon Stadium Circuit! Featuring corners, bends, and racing decorations, this new track will become a permanent race route in the game – complete with its own event icon on the map and Rivals leaderboard!
Score your best time on this new race route in Rivals and Horizon Open and explore the Stadium Track Realm in Horizon Realms’ Free Mode and Skill Mode.

Get Ready for Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure on PS5
Forza Horizon 5 comes to PlayStation 5 this April, featuring all previously released content that introduced hundreds of new cars, races, features, and gameplay experiences.
As we are getting ready to welcome new players to the Horizon Festival, we wanted to give a tour of some of the exciting locations available in Forza Horizon 5’s expansions.

Explore Two New Locations
Let’s take a closer look at the adventures that await you on the extreme, gravity-defying tracks of Hot Wheels Park and the rugged, off-road terrain of Sierra Nueva.
No Holds Barred Driving at the Hot Wheels Park
Experience some of Forza Horizon 5’s fastest, most extreme speeds across 131 miles (212 km) of iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks that create loops, turns, bends, jumps, and all sorts of gravity-defying roads.
Discover the unique biomes available to explore in Hot Wheels Park: Ice and lava meet in the Ice Cauldron; Forest Falls comes with amazing views of rich forests and its own giant waterfall, and hear your engine blast off in the Giant’s Canyon – all interconnected via the Horizon Nexus, where the Horizon Festival is suspended among a web of Hot Wheels tracks.
In addition to experiencing these environments at extreme speed, you’ll also be racing on unique tracks with special effects. Make a splash in your favorite cars as you pass on top of Water Flumes. Be careful not to slip when running on the chilly Ice Tracks. Bumpy roads ahead as you face the Rumble Tracks. Drive upside down and bend the laws of physics in the Magnet Tracks. Meanwhile, Speed Boosts will propel your car faster than ever, as Air-Tracks give your rides even more velocity as you go through them!
From the shelves and into your garage, the Hot Wheels expansion features 10 unlockable cars that bring the magic of Hot Wheels into Forza Horizon 5. Complete challenges at Hot Wheels Park to add these speed demons to your garage:
- 2021 Hennessey Venom F5
- 2020 SIERRA Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA
- 2019 Brabham BT62
- 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro
- 2018 SUBARU WRX STI ARX Supercar
- 2013 Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker
- 2012 Hot Wheels Bad to the Blade
- 2006 Mosler MT900 GT3
- 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II
- 1993 Schuppan 962CR
Discover how you can unlock each car in the Hot Wheels Academy by visiting this blog.
Kick up the Dust at Sierra Nueva
Rally Adventure introduces you to Sierra Nueva, a biome-diverse, vast location full of unpredictable turns with steep inclines, blind crests and thrilling asphalt jumps, as well as rugged deformable sand roads interwoven with pre-deformed tire tracks. Rally Adventure adds a map of 6.25 miles squared (or 16.2 km squared) with 38 miles (61 km) of roads to drive in!
Race through the town of Pueblo Artza and enjoy the magnificent views of the hills that surround it. Enter the Desert Gorge for challenging asphalt roads and a couple of pictures of the fabulous murals done on its rocky formations. Green Hills is a huge, open area filled with diverse plants and a clear water stream down the middle. Cascades, palm trees, and some of the most beautiful sights in the Horizon Festival are waiting in the Palm Forest. Reckless driving is the order of the day in the Abandoned Quarry, complete with loose sand and heavy machinery. Finally, miles and miles of sandy terrain are waiting for your best off-roaders in the Rugged Dunes.
If you are wondering which cars to take on expeditions across these biomes, look no further than the 11 reward cars available to unlock in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure. Dominate any terrain within your reach using the Rally Monsters featured in this expansion:
- 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum
- 2022 Alumicraft #6165 Trick Truck
- 2021 Alumicraft #122 Class 1 Buggy
- 2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP Factory Racing Limited Edition
- 2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck
- 2020 Jimco #179 Hammerhead Class 1
- 2019 Casey Currie Motorsports #4402 Ultra 4 'Trophy Jeep’
- 2019 Jimco #240 Fastball Racing Spec Trophy Truck
- 2001 Ford #4 Ford Focus RS
- 1986 Audi #2 Audi Sport Quattro S1 (also available as a Festival Playlist reward car)
- 1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle Class 5/1600 'Scumbug’
For more information on how to unlock each vehicle in the rally career, check out this blog.
There’s even more to discover in both expansions including new challenges, stories, and additional achievements or Trophies depending on your platform!
How can I play these expansions?
To unlock access to the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure, you will need to play through the first few hours of Forza Horizon 5. This includes the Initial Drive to the Horizon Festival, a Showcase Event, and your first Horizon Story mission. Afterwards, the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expedition icons will be added to your map. Select the one you want to play first, and you’ll be transported to your new destination.
Make the most out of your Forza Horizon 5 adventure with the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions. These expansions and more are coming April 29 to PlayStation 5 – with PS5 Early Access starting on April 25 for the Premium Edition.
Players on Xbox consoles or PC can purchase all Forza Horizon 5 add-on content on the Microsoft Store and Steam, including the Premium Add-Ons Bundle and Ultimate Car Pack Collection right now.

Horizon Realms Reward Cars
Unlock these four new reward cars by earning Accolades on each of the 12 Realms available in this new update. This collection of rewards comes with amazing power and perhaps more wheels than you expected.
2024 Lamborghini Revuelto
The raging bull goes hybrid with the latest addition to its exotic hyper car collection: the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto.
The total power output of this car is the largest of any Lambo ever: 1001 bhp. 814 horsepower comes from the V12 engine set in the middle of the car, and the rest comes from three electric motors (two mounted on the front axles and one in the gearbox).
Rear-wheel steering and improved stability make the Revuelto handle corners like a breeze.
Plug into the madness of Lamborghini’s ultimate hybrid drive with the Lamborghini Revuelto.
2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato
Lamborghini takes to the dirt with the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato! The Italian brand’s icon of the roads gets off-roading modifications to take the dirt roads by storm.
The Huracán Sterrato marks a very important moment in time for Lamborghini. It is the last “special edition” of the Huracán; it is the last Lambo to use the iconic V10 engine; and it is the first time Lamborghini put a Rally button on a coupé.
The first noticeable changes come with adding a new air intake on the roof of the car and removing the side intakes to prevent the car from breathing too much dirt. Next comes a modified version of the classic V10 engine that puts out 601 horsepower!
Flip the off-road switch in the raging bull, available in Horizon Realms!
2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430
The ultimate Lotus experience has arrived at the Horizon Festival with the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430, an even stronger and loonier version of the Exige.
Hidden in plain sight within the car’s name is its first impressive stat: the horsepower. The Exige Cup 430 produces 430 horsepower dispatched by a 3.5-litre V6 engine. While that number might not sound crazy, when it’s paired up with the car’s extreme lightweight and improved downforce, the 430 reaches 100 kph in about 3.3 seconds.
Designed to fulfill your deepest track fantasies, the Exige Cup 430’s gorgeous design and crazy speed will not disappoint racing fans eager to dominate the courses of the Horizon Festival.

1987 Nissan Be-1
Here’s the car that started Nissan’s Pike Car line. A car that you could get and feel all warm and cozy: the 1987 Nissan Be-1.
Ever think about the good ol’ days? Designer Naoki Sakai did so too, so it turned in a retro design meant to compete with other car brands that were taking over the Japanese market.
Meant to be used as an everyday car, Nissan used different materials to make the body of this car, including thermoplastic resin (that could resist small rock impacts), durasteel (mainly in the front), and ABS resin.
Buyers of this car were picked by lottery, because, of course, who wouldn’t want to drive home in a car with that much face card?

Available for purchase only by reservation, the 1989 Nissan S-Cargo is the Pike car meant for commercial use.
That hump on the back is indeed a loading area, like what you would find on a van. Thus, resulting in a car that looked like a snail, explaining why Nissan chose a name that sounded like escargot.
Only 8,000 units of this car were sold, making it a very rare JDM jewel and now you can get your hands on one of them with the Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack!
1989 Nissan PAO
Travel back to the late 80s and witness how fast orders for the 1989 Nissan Pao were made; they sold out in just three months with 51,667 applications for the unit.
Taking a closer look at this car will reveal inspiration taken from other car makers of the time, all put together into one practical package built to be as appealing as Japanese personal electronic devices.
Everything about this car evokes inexplicable appeal: the way the windows open, the optional sunroof, and the four delightful colors it came in are all part of what makes this tribute to retro cars a wonderful JDM to add to your collection!
1991 Nissan Figaro
Sold only in Nissan Cherry Stores back in the days of girl groups and grunge, the 1991 Nissan Figaro is a tiny, retro, convertible car built with a dash of luxury and extravagance.
The highlight of this car’s retro design is found inside. The console and dials are built in a beautiful white color with some chrome details found in frames and the steering wheel. The elegant lever at the center console could put some modern luxury cars to shame.
It may have been built to appeal to retro car fans; however, the Figaro came equipped with the latest technology for the time, such as air conditioning and a CD player.
Available in colors that represent the four seasons, the Figaro is a ride to enjoy all year long.
Complete your collection and customize your favorite Nissan Pike Cars with this unique Car Pack available for purchase on its own or as a part of the Ultimate Car Pack Collection Bundle!
The Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack is not included in Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition.

First Drive: A Forza Horizon 5 Starting Guide!
Starting Your Journey
If this is your first time at the Festival – let’s look at what’s in store as you take your first drive into your Forza Horizon 5 adventure!
Your experience will start with you getting thrown off a plane (quite literally!) and parachuting down into our beautiful, vibrant rendition of Mexico. After you complete this first drive, your next step will be to create your own unique character and style them any way you want!
Now, time for what you came here to do: driving adventures. It’s time to find your perfect starting car. Pick from the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe C8, 2021 Ford Bronco, or 2020 Toyota GR Supra and get ready for your first Showcase Event: On a Wing and a Prayer. These special racing events will see you take on opponents in unique vehicles, such as planes, boats, trains, and even a monster truck! To complete the first event, you’ll have to race in different environments while clearing checkpoints and beat the Horizon Cargo Plane to the finish line! As a reward for completion, you’ll get a Hoonigan vehicle added to your garage. Your collection is starting to take shape!
Once the event is done and you have received your reward, you’ll be able to pick your first Horizon Story: special missions with a narrative arc that progresses as you complete its chapters. Pick between:
- El Camino - Into the Storm: Drive through a dust storm for photography.
- Vocho - The Vocho: Track down a long-lost Vocho.
Now that you have completed the first chapter in the Horizon Story of your choosing, you will be able to play short and unique mini games in the Horizon Arcade, join a convoy of your friends from every platform, and try any other multiplayer modes like Hide & Seek and The Eliminator. Both expansions (sold separately or included with Premium Edition) will also become available to play!
Next, we’ll discuss how to unlock the Festival Playlist: a selection of events that, once completed, will give you even more rewards including cars, clothing items for your character, car horns, credits, emotes, and more. Finishing challenges on the Festival Playlist will also earn you Forzathon Points, a special type of currency used to unlock hard-to-find rewards.
After completing your first Horizon Story Chapter, you’ll be shown the world map and asked to pick your first challenge. Pick any race or stunt shown and don’t stop after you have completed it! Keep finishing events to earn Accolades. Press the Start Button on the World Map and you’ll be able to see all available Accolades. You can also pin the next Accolade you want to complete to track its progress.
After you earn enough Accolades…it’s time to unlock your first Outpost! You can choose to open the Horizon Baja, Horizon Apex, or Horizon Wilds Outpost first. Once you have unlocked any of those three Outposts, every feature will be available for you to play in!
Hope you enjoy having your own adventures across the Horizon Festival, racing other players, discovering barn finds, taking photos, and having the best time!
