FH5 crashes on startup/loading screen

Forza Horizon 5 crashes immediately during the loading screen after starting the game. The game does not reach the main menu, and there are no error messages displayed. This occurs every time I attempt to launch the game.

Until yesterday, I was getting an error from the AMD Reporting Tool about a driver timeout, but as of today, it mysteriously no longer appears. But it still crashes at the same point.

I’ve tried everything I could find online, but nothing has worked. I hope one of you might have an idea.

I take that to mean you have yet to get the game to run at all. I know lots of people had trouble with it when they first installed it as well.
If you get to this screen:

Then click the Accessibility/Settings and then go into the graphics menu and try turning off a few things or even turn them all down to bare minimum just to see if that helps. I know for me, I merely had to turn off the “ray tracing” but that was years ago and I don’t think that’d be it.

I have tried many different graphics settings, but none of them helped. :frowning:

Are you able to turn off any Overlay options for your graphics card. That was also an issue I had when I first started. That’s my last suggestion. Good luck.

I turned everything off and reset my PC. It’s still not working
