Where the crash occurs (launching the game, in a particular menu or game mode)
Which car you were using and what you were doing at the time of the crash
Whether this is consistent in the same circumstances or apparently random
Video of the crashing if you can provide it
Confirm that you have attempted to quit/restart your game and whether that cleared the issue.

Since the new update arrived, I’ve had the game crash while painting a car a few times. All of them were Fords, if that’s important (2017 Focus RS and the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse twice). I’m on the Windows 10 version.
So my fh5 keeps crashing on start after the new update. It doesnt even gets on the loading screen, I tried everything, every tutorial and every tip on xbox web and it still doesnt work, I am on Windows 10. If someone knows how to fix this please reply. The error code is 0x000001d .
they should’ve everyone know the game now mainly runs on newer cpus with AVX instruction. older cpus no longer run Forza Horizon 5 even it is capable of running it smoothly.
for some reason back in 2023 everytime i would load up btd6 to play while waiting for forza horizon 5 to finish loading the game would crash on the loading screen. this happened every time i would do this. its stopped happening after i got an xbox X however i still think i should post it here. (it only happens with bloons by the way).
c’mon dear developers, please, add backward compatibility for CPU’s without AVX. my system got 1070ti, 64Gb DDR3 and double X5675 (every single of them greater than minimal i5-4460) and has no AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 instructions. no AVX - no more game nowadays? but I’ve bought this game few years ago!
p.s.: I’m using my PC for game development on the latest UE5.4 so please dont tell that hardware is deprecated
