Good afternoon, I encountered such a problem that my progress in the game was completely lost. And also that when I go to “Find new tunings”, the game just slows down and crashes, I couldn’t find a solution to this problem anywhere, the latest version of Windows 11, the video card version is 566.03. Please help me with this problem

@Naruv4ik could you try rolling back to a previous driver version to see if that has an effect?

Random crashes after about one hour of play. Freeroam, multiplayer, eliminator, doesn’t matter. No errors, except the one from the Event Viewer. Same problem in FH4. Same problem on a different computer with the same hardware configuration and Windows version. Everything up to date on both computers.

i9-9900KS
1080 Ti
32 GB 3600 CL16

Win 11 Home 23H2

EventViewer file
DxDiag
MsInfo32

Please report if rolling back the driver to another version has any effect.

Ok. I reverted to 565.90 (1 Oct).

It would make more sense to be a driver issue since I got the same problem in FH4.

Crashed on 565.90 as well. Installed 561.09 (11 Sep).

No issues now after reverting to 561.09

Yes. For me as well. I will let my PC open over night.
Last night I installed back the newest driver and I found the game crashed.

This night I will try again with 561.09.

I’ve been playing for the last 7 hours on 561.09. No crashes. I think is very safe to assume that there is a problem with 565.90 and 566.03.

Still crashing on 566.36.

yes,i still face the crashing problem of this game by using 556.36 which nv said fixed this issues…

Completely disabling ray tracing fixed the issue for me.

RT disabled for me since forever. Yes, it was crashing with RT enabled when I started playing in Jan 2023, it’s disabled since then.

Ryzen 5950X, RTX 3080
Running 566.36, game runs longer with ray tracing disabled but still crashes eventually with the same 0x00000005 exception code.
Game will run for about 35-40 minutes for me before crashing with RTX on.
With RTX off, it will run for about 65-75 minutes before crashing.
Friend with same GPU experiences the same issue after the same amount of time.

Trying to gather some data on the crash using Renderdoc, but I can’t get the game to start with it attached. Anyone been able to do that successfully? Would probably help the debugging process

Rolling the driver back does nothing as of the game update from december 12th. I rolled back to multiple drivers (one from sept. 2023) and the game still crashes. Can u revert whatever you guys did in the latest update, thx.

Just played for about 2 hours with a few breaks pausing in between with 561.09, and the game ran fine the whole time. DLAA on, DLSS & RTX off. Not a great solution, but one that works well enough.

Will try 561.09 but just wanted to add quick little something about 566.36. I installed those few days ago and today got around to testing. Made a very long post on Reddit and short version is, it worked initially on clean booted system for about 1h50min, then I made full boot, game crashed after exactly 30mins, so I went back to clean boot and same thing 30mins=crash. Major difference being that this longest time played was mixed including some eventlab and those 30min sessions were pure PvP on non standard list (B-class Rally).
