It’s good to have confirmation that the Trial is A800 classic muscle vs modern muscle.

I had planned on tuning retro, classic and modern muscle when we weren’t sure of the restriction, but I never got around to tuning the retro muscle, so this worked out for me.

Some good candidates here. Tough decision on which to use.

I’m a spec 5 guy in this restriction

That’s the one that came to mind first. I made my tune with rally tires. It’s not quite as fast as some of the others but it handles great.
Really like the feel of how it drives.

I had one with rallies, it’s a great build but maybe no turbo, switched to off-roads for no particular reason for this one

fun fact: Hummer ev pictured for seasonal games is not eligible, no build gets you to b700

I bet the Drivatar mechanics can build it to B700 “spec”

The RTR is definitely a favorite (& if you’re interested in a design for it, got you covered:)

What about a downgraded Deberti ([redacted])? I see you have a couple tuned to A.

So the trial is on road? That’s good. They usually have muscle cars as a dirt option. Looking forward to that.

That’s a sweet design!! Instant download.

Those Deberti builds are for dirt racing. Still debating on whether to convert it to a road build. Would have to go with offroad race tires or maybe drag tires will keep it in A class.

Very classy design.

Thanks, appreciate it!

A800 Classic Muscle vs. Modern Muscle is an interesting one. Obviously the Dodge Dart reigns above everything and Modern Muscle has some real turds but will be fun.
GT vs. Super GT on the other hand is the battle of average vs. average/poor. A C63 BS engine detuned SL65 should take it here.

So my time in 2003 with GTA 3 + Vice City is finally over and I step back into 2023 by coming on FH5 to run a quick test for the 2 options I’m considering for the Trial, the '70 Camaro or the Ford Falcon just to get familiar again.

2 laps of AOM in the Camaro done, went to select the Falcon and…

It hung on the menu and dashboarded, not even 5 minutes of gameplay in.

So these are the facts…

The defective editions of two 20 year old games, once widely slammed + notorious for their bugs and instability that are still not even close to sorted even after all the heavy patches, that along with San Andreas’ DE will never be forgotten for all the wrong reasons?

1 crash in the combined 40+ hours I played the 2 of them, 0 in GTA 3.

FH5, best in class, winner of many awards, media darling and a first party exclusive ergo supposed to demonstrate the best that can possibly be done with the current tech?

Achieved it within 5 minutes of me returning.

I should also point out Vice City’s single crash happened when I was blowing countless things up in a helicopter so a lot was going on for the game to process.

FH5 (you know…the car game?) got frazzled by me trying to select a car.

Welcome back to gaming in 2023, I haven’t missed you.

Festival Playlist tunes Sept 28th - Oct 5th (S25 Winter)
Happy Wednesday to all my favorite Throttle Jockeys! Here is your early access everything you need to go get through the Winter Seasonal challenges. I have provided a brief description on the tunes below as well as some tips and tricks for the PR Stunts.
Seasonal Tuning method

  1. I always go for a stock look - wheels, rim sizes and aero are only changed if it is absolutely necessary for handling and stability.
  2. Tunes are always tuned to max performance with max handling.
  3. All cars tuned vs. Unbeatable AI on championship tracks in seasonal weather. Tunes are then baseline ran in Rivals.
I again want to thank everyone for the downloads, follows, comments and likes! Remember feedback is important! I like hearing any and all comments on these tunes. There is no “bad” comments. You guys have been awesome with your support.

I have a busy work week but i did make a tune for the Forzathon challenge and two for the trial.

I don’t have the share code numbers atm but will list the titles

Forzathon weekly
#thon \ CC 9-28 [ Ford SD 450 ( A800 ) ]
Went with A class for this weekly challenge. Tested on a couple courses very well

Trial A800 muscle
Holden Monaro. [ trial 9-28 ] tested at Playa Azul and handled like like a dream being the lightest of all choices base stats

1967 Corvette [ trial 9-28 ] also tested at Playa Azul and does well at both handling and power

All tunes are awd and it might come down to what courses are chosen for the trial. If they are circuit in towns or cities the Holden might be better. If they choose sprints then the Corvette may edge out there.

Tuned on controler auto trans for all skill levels. If you’re looking to try something different check these out. Any downloads, likes, uses are appreciated.
