Festival Playlist events and rewards Oct. 19-26 (Autumn S26)

Was a bit inspired by the Día de Los Muertos theme & the classic Beetle for the weekly challenge, so decided to spend some time on a celebration skull vinyl, which took quite a few hours actually, but thought it it turned out pretty well.
Both the design & vinyls are shared, if anyone would like to check them out, it’s appreciated.
As always, thanks & enjoy!

Finally had a chance to give this a try last night & I agree: excellent tune @Tredawn, as always. Even ran the scramble event a bit, though didn’t catch you guys, (great times by the way). I did manage to do my typical impossible time match with @AudibleJam509 :joy: but haven’t been back to try to improve as I spent my time working on the above design.

Geist: also DL’d your S1 tune for the VW, very nice & handles great :+1:t2: definitely a rocket sled

Thanks @Bravo437 for giving my tune a spin. Currently working on a revised Brat tune with sport suspension which actually absorbs the bumps infinitely better than rally susp, (why? cuz Forza). Haven’t quite refined the turn in or exit though, so it’s a work in progress. That’s a fun little car/truck/thing though.

rally suspension travels too far in the brat for some reason, doesn’t bottom out but might be hitting the wheel wells on jumps/landings, you saw in my trial video it was smooth sailing on normal races, the jump in Baja was where it went wrong most noticeably

I liked that S1 tune, even tho it only took me a few minutes, I wasn’t expecting it to drive so well. also wasn’t expecting 6k downloads considering the weekly was really basic, and my forzathon tunes generally fall flat. this is my 4th most popular one out of 100-ish (wow time flies)

Let us know when you get it published so we can give it a go :+1:t2:

Wow, 6K?! That’s crazy! Funny how some of the highest DLs are from the least amount of time spent. One of my top liveries was a basic design I did for the Manx, but then a lot of times, I can spend hours on a livery that won’t even get a single DL  That will probably end up being the case with the above livery since I spent several hours working on it…

the VW beetle proves a good point about the PI system. a lot of these cars snap together into specific classes easily with max upgrades. the beetle just leads you to a flat S1900 and performs ok without adjustment. when building, always test the upper and lower limits of the PI range, those builds are very intentionally designed

yeah there’s no correlation between a tune being good, or spending time on it, and downloads. for liveries it’s probably even more rare, people are careful about visual upgrades, but if they need a VW tune for five minutes, they’ll grab mine and forget about it. the stats look great, but there’s a hollowness to some of them. world record tune took me weeks = 32 downloads, random Dodge viper speed zone tune = 25,000 downloads.

(edited download totals for accuracy)

btw imaginarymonsta is claiming the SRT 300 is actually coming next series, just after I said I wish but it would never happen :crossed_fingers:

You have to win 2/3 if you do co-op. Solo was a much easier experience for me, as I can pull my own weight ok. It’s just that I’m used to being able to carry the team on “highly skilled”, and it wasn’t the case this time.

Co-op usually means I’m 2 and done, saving me a raceZ this time I ended up doing 9 races, 2 failed co-ops and then a solo. That’s on me. But I still perceived it as a higher bar than usual for a seasonal (at least for co-op).

I know it’s early but I’m currently working on next seasons tunes. Bit of an incomplete picture on the events.

SC: Lurking in the Jungle-B700 Street-Decade of the 2010’s
There’s an ungodly amount of vehicles for that decade but most won’t fit into B class. Still there are some decisions to be made.

SC: Perfect match-B700 Cross Country-Offroad
Only a handful in this category and already have them set up for B class cross country.

estadio American modern supercars S1900, maybe that’s too specific, but in that range

(edit: I’m assuming that’s the day-one stingray…?)

Thoughts on the trial being - track toys specifically of 2010’s ? Thats the 2019 zr1 Corvette on asphalt / tarmac. The vuhl 05rr is a 2017 track toy and will be in the forza shop to boot

I’ve gotten a few more tune dl’s than the past few weeks. I want to thank you all that took a chance on someone that might not have the same name recognition or popularity of the top 15. I appreciate each and every one of you for the support.

I do have an issue logged in the tracker that involves file saves atm so depending on if that gets sorted out will determine what I’ll have available next week

I thought the vent and spoiler looked wrong for stingray, good call
