Festival Playlist events and rewards Nov. 4th-11th

Below are the Festival Playlist events available for Early Access Players through Nov. 11th at 6:30am Pacific, at which time a new Festival Playlist set will open for the following week. Add your tips and shared tuning setups to this thread for other community members to try out!

SEASON PROGRESS

Total Points: 38
Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of seasonal points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Both of these cars are Hard to Find (not available from the Autoshow). Don’t worry if you miss the opportunity; you can expect later opportunities to earn these models.

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop. Note: the Forzathon Shop is not active this week, but your Forzathon points will remain for later use.

#Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Wouldn’t It Be Loverly? (5 points)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

  • Own and drive the 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z.
  • Earn 9 stars from Drift Zones in your Fairlady Z.
  • Earn 5 Ultimate Drift or E-Drift Skills in your Fairlady Z.
  • Bank 500,000 Skill Score in your Fairlady Z.

#Forzathon Daily Challenges (1 point each)
Each day a new challenge opens at 6:30am Pacific.

  • Earn 3 Clean Racing Skills in a Road Race
  • Complete a Horizon Open Event
  • Earn 5 Stars from PR Stunts in any Lamborghini
  • Win a Drag Race in a Modern Sports Car
  • Smash 5 Phonebooths
  • Send a Gift Drop to another player
  • Earn 12 stars in total from any PR Stunt in a Truck (Trucks is a car type found by sorting the Autoshow or your garage)

SEASON EVENTS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion.

I have completed the danger sign and the speed trap on the festival Playlist, but didn’t get the stars and it doesn’t say completed on the screen too.
Anyone else having this issue?
Also it only downloaded the 2 expansions, not the VIP or the car pass.

My carpass was fine ~ 20 minutes after official launch time in my region… couldn’t check earlier as in the intro.
In the house under Buy /Sell you can add the FD cars, the others do not release yet but have release dates.

I don’t have a download for car pass, treasure map or VIP and they are both active.

Will need to play more to see if the VIP is working, still in post showcase stories but I do have the VIP crown.

  1. #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge doesn’t trigger (did so after a few tries…)
  2. First time I won the Seasonal Championship I didn’t get the reward car, second time I did
  3. So I won the Seasonal Championship twice and I am now at 10 points total (I presume that is not as intended

edit: removed 4, didn’t know there were car restrictions this time around

I don’t think playlist has officially started yet.

The first series hasn’t started, but this is an active playlist that ends when Series 1 starts.

Same thing, can’t complete the championship at all.
Tried several times now, just dumps you back in the world without the completion screen.

Several of the others also don’t complete or need 5-10 completions to trigger.
Can’t get the speed trap to work, keeps telling me I need a different car but I am in a track toy.

Yeah I have 5 points despite nothing being checked off. It won’t recognize I own a 350Z, and it isn’t counting my clean racing skills in a road race

I am also having problems with my Festival Playlist, I keep doing the things it wants me to do but none of them are completed, it’s as if it isn’t detecting I’m doing stuff, or I have to do something more.

may be a dumb question, but are you sure youre using the right car. one requires s1 900 ford and the other requires s2 998 audi to get the stars

I’m not sure if this will fix everything, but I was having trouble getting the Forzathon Weekly event to progress – seems like it is pretty simple whether or not I have the '03 Nissan, right? Eventually it worked for me and I think the difference was that when it wasn’t registering Forzathon Weekly progress, I was in the middle of a story, between chapters.

Being between chapters is kind of weird. It seems like you are just in free roam with a destination set for your GPS, but it also seems like some things don’t work quite as you would expect in free roam. You can enter a race from between chapters – if you do that I think you should be able to make Playlist progress. It’s worth a shot anyway.

I am having problems with the Championship.
Anyone got a good car and tune as my BMW’s are awful!

Hey Fellow Horizoners,

A buddy an I have been zooming around Mexico and have been trying to complete the Festival Playlist Challenges listed above but we have ran into some issues.

Coast View - We have completed this one using what the game has filtered as ‘Track Toys’ but when completing it it always says “1 more MPH to complete season event.” We have completed these with 196+ mph when the requirement is 195 mph. Has anyone else ran into this one? If so, were you able to get it to trigger properly, and how?

Ranchito - The highest tuned Audi we can find right now is the R8 and it seems that it caps around 976 when the requirement is an S2 998. Does anyone have a different Audi that they have been able to get to that 998 that it wants? We completed it with the 976 but the playlist still shows it as incomplete.

We have gotten the Wheelspin rewards from these zones, but not the season points.

If I haven’t misread the blurb that comes with the Festival Playlist, the events themselves won’t be live till next week even though they’re flagged up on the map.

I was a bit surprised to see them highlighted myself since I was sure that I had seen they wouldn’t immediately be available. It does seem to be causing some confusion.

I’ve been able to complete some of them no problems, it just seems to be those two that my friend and I have issues with. The current playlist is out for the people who own premium before the next one goes live with launch from what it seems to be.

The playlist is already ready to run. And we can get prizes.
Perhaps this playlist is a “pre-season” for Early Access players.
However, there seems to be a lot of bugs in this playlist.
In the case of my family member, there was a glitch that prevented him from completing this week’s weekly challenge of 350Z. He said he already owns two 350Z’s and still can’t get the first challenge to be accomplished.

I’ve been able to complete everything except the Track Toys speed trap and the Audi Speed Zone. Looks like they might be more reliably glitchy than the other events!
