I just completed the speed zone with the red vintage audi quattro maxed out and the speed trap with the Catheram (other track toys don’t work).
Hope that this can help

Thank you for letting us knows! Were both of these vehicles S2 998 like the restriction states? Or were you able to do it without them being at that rating?

Top notch advice - both objectives completed. Thanks, Salfox!

In my case, the Festival does not seem to ‘detect’ activities done, but I’m stuck at getting the Nissan 350Z from 2003. I got it, entered it, but no achievement in order to go further (with drift, racing, etc.) I did not try to do anything else (yet).

The Speed Trap won’t trigger the Forzathon requirement being achieved…my first go was less than 1mph under so it said “need 1mph more”…did it again, this time 7mph beyond the req, still gave me “1mph more”…went again and a further 10mph beyond (the req is 195mph and I hit 212mph) and still gave me “1mph” more. Gave up at that point.

The Danger SIgn worked without issue; speed zone I haven’t done yet

I wonder if there’s something in the timing of the event?
The first time I did the danger sign seasonal event I was just mucking about (but in the right car) to see how angle on launch would affect distance and missed the target distance by 1m.
The next jump I passed it by an ungodly amount, the event appears completed when you look at the pop-up over the danger sign itself, but in the festival playlist it still doesn’t recognise it as completed.

So I wonder if it is as simple as ‘getting stuck’ if you are in a car that meets reqs but fail to hit the required speed/distance/time on the first time you attempt the stunt.
Because the speed zone is stuck as well, and I know I didn’t make it on the first attempt either - but did on the second, yet it still wont acknowledge it in playlist.

I succeed a big jump at the first try, and don’t get the reward too, with the good car, and get the same message “1 meter missed”.
For speed zone I have the right cars and same messages “1km/h missed”.
It doesn’t get me the season points and nothing to do, even with retry and retry.
Any way to solve it?

Thanks..will give this a try later. PGG not telling us it needs a specific car rather than just a type or brand of car? I’m shocked…almost too shocked for words (in honour of Halo releasing next month!)

The game does a terrible job at telling you the car you need to use to complete the objectives in the Festival Playlist.

I have tried the S1 Audi for as well as a RS 6 for the speedzone, in both cases it said wrong car. For the speed trap i have tried 5 different cars, ranging from track toys to extrem track toys, all give me the same message.

Can someone name me the required cars ? And could the developers be a bit more specific which cars we are supposed to use.

I used a Bac Mono for the speed trap and a 17 ford GT for the jump. Haven’t tried the Audi req yet.

Also used the Ford GT for the danger sign, but it’s a very easy danger sign objective anyway so you shouldn’t have issues. Don’t bother with the Forza Edition Puma though, it caps at a laughable 160-ish MPH.

If you’re having trouble finding the specific car requirements, hover over the PR Stunt in the map. It’ll show you the reqs there, much like Seasonal Championships do.

On Xbox, you have to push on the R joystick of your pad to see restrictions instead of rewards for each challenge.
For example for the Ranchito challenge, you’ll see your car must be Audi and class S2 998.

Thanks, i will try the Bac Mono then. For the jump i was using the Puma, but the speed trap and zone gave me the wrong car message no matter what car i used.

I used:-

  • stock Forza Puma forza edition for the jump
  • Ferrari 488 Pista (S2 955 quick tune, didn’t bother sharing it)
  • stock M6 for the Saloon races
  • loan truck for the playground games
  • made a quick A class all-rounder/drift tune for the Nissan Fairlady Z (shared if anyone wants it) for the 4 different requirements.

I only need 2 points to get the NSX-R GT now, so i’ll just play an arcade game to get it. Not bothered with any of the rest as i’ve then got all the cars.

If you press the right joystick on the Festival list if gives you the restrictions.

Thanks again, the Mono worked, and i got the speed zone after tuning the RS 6 to above 900, so apparently the game had an issue with me trying to do the speed zone in a stock car, but telling me i am using the wrong car was kind of missleading.

@Mashed I will give your Fairlady tune a spin, since i havent done the weekly challenge yet.

Edit: Did the drifty bit now, nice tune, i even managed to get a 3 star on first attempt, very rare, as i am absolutely useless at drifting

I used Ford Puma FE, bought BMW 1M for saloon championship, stock reward Nissan Fairlady and Caterham as track toy.
Haven’t got to Audi stuff as tbh I’m not sure what to use with all this threads.

Besides why are playlist challenges so restrictive and missing on proper restriction description, as I brought that Nascar track toy and it said wrong car?

PS
Sorry to say but as how everything is mashed into one game, I’m not really feeling it.

Nice one, glad you liked the tune

Try to purchase a new one. Worked for me.

As pointed out by Salfox69 on another thread, the speed zone can be completed with an S2 Audi Quattro (several other Audis didn’t work), and the speed trap with a Caterham R5000 (again, several other Track Toys have been tried with no success).
