RA Championship - 149 470 753 (Saleen S1)

It isn’t often I’ll advertise a tune but that was the very first time I ever properly tuned a car and it just so happens it was made for that very track when we had a Rivals week on there a while back, there’s currently 11 of us in the top 100 of S1 The Narrows with it including myself at #7 and two other top 20 times.

The Rossion will also be eligible once you obtain it, might be a good place to test it out.

Now that’s what I call early.

Yup, love it. Works for me. I’m on a 40 point diet now. Don’t bother completing the whole thing anymore.

This allows plenty of pre-tune/build time. Saves time overall.

Wondering how much the Rossion compares to its Noble counterpart.

Not sure if this particular Lincoln Continental has ever been in previous Horizon games but I’m really looking forward to tuning this one.

Don’t think so. FM exclusive so far, IIRC. Nice to see Lincoln back. Considering their obvious Ford relationship, I’m surprised other Lincoln’s haven’t showed up sooner….but who knows how these licenses work…. :man_shrugging:

Lincoln, while known for being luxury brand, have never really been a performance brand or reinvented themselves into one like Cadillac, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce did in the 2000s. I just don’t think there’s that strong of a demand for Lincolns in racing games period, which would explain the general absence of them.

There’s few Lincolns popular in the automotive community whether custom or performance minded. The 60s Continental was popular from day 1 and is late to Horizon. It’s only become more popular as time passes. There’s some other classic Lincolns that would be good additions along with a recent Navigator.

Can’t really say I think of Caddy, Bentley or RR as performance brands. A couple of models here and there, maybe. Focus is still luxury. :person_shrugging:

Don’t know where you’ve been then, because pretty much every Cadillac and Bentley is track tested before sale these days and have been for the last ten to fifteen years. Rolls-Royce I’ll concede that they still primarily focus on luxury, but the Ghost, Wraith, Dawn, and Phantom (basically their whole line-up) are far from slouches in the performance department.

As for Lincoln, I’ve honestly never seen anyone really talk about them other than the Continental that we’re getting, and even then, as good looking as the Continental is, it has pretty poor performance when stock. Perhaps maybe the only area where Lincolns get a lot of love is the low-riding community, but that’s the epitome of all show and no go.

Oh, Lordy. If you’re going to be like this, I am not discussing this any further with you. And don’t take this as “you win” because you didn’t.

That’s fine. The point is for the few performance vehicles they make it’s really an afterthought to being a luxury car. That’s why I don’t consider them performance brands. I will agree Lincoln isn’t either and is further from performance than those you mentioned.

can vouch, I’m one of the many people on the narrows lb driving this tune

Same, great tune. I think I was in the 40s on the LB with it at the time. I remember I did a livery for it as well. (SC: 951 579 553)

So my favorite of the bunch is probably the El Camino:

It’s just super clean, and it’s based on a Lingenfelter electric mod:

I’m afraid downloads will suffer because the preview pic from the side doesn’t do it justice.

The Vandura is based on:

Except I added some Gulf logos. I like it. The swoosh in the back to account for the windows is different.

The Ecto 1 livery got some updates from the second movie without changing the logo. I like how it adds some authentic details without getting too cluttered.

I made a US Postal logo that most of the vans got, and then the rest got standard Gulf’d.

@AudioRebelUK, if there’s one that needs to be Citified, let me know. I think the Syclone/Typhoon seem to be winning the performance race, but the El Camino isn’t too far behind (and already has a Gulf version so it’s easy to convert).

This is one of those categories where they didn’t specify USA-only, but it ends up almost being that anyway by nature of the vehicles in it.

Any suggestions for color switchips on the El Camino for the mid week color change? And I may come up with something different for the Syclone/Typhoon (maybe Union Jack instead of the Stars n Stripes?)

Thanks, I’ll grab those this evening. I especially like the USPS, Ghostbusters and El Camino livery’s.

I don’t understand why the preview images aren’t just like the regular thumbnails, which do a better job of showing off the design in most cases.
