For convenience if anyone’s doing both the Trial and RA Championship here’s the small handful of cars that are in both Daily Drivers and High Performance Dailies….

Audi S1

Ford Fiesta ‘14

Honda Civic ‘16 (though with the extra AWD caveat this is basically out. will be awful for the RA SC with the only tire compounds it can fit into B class)

Vauxhall Corsa

VW Golf R ‘14

Volvo V60

Since the first two Trial courses are Cathedral and Panoramica an appropriately built tune for those will automatically translate well to the RA tarmac courses too.

Corsa and Fiesta the ones to go for if you’re auto/standard manual, and add the Audi and Golf in there if you use MC, Honda’s problem is in the brackets and the Volvo will be just :man_shrugging: not awful or a handful to drive but a car like that’s never going to be any good on RA’s road courses.

Had to make a lot of changes from the original here, decided to add Panoramica in so a bunch of cars/tunes were straight up removed as I either made the tunes myself (which unsurprisingly are long gone) or I just didn’t feel like driving them on a 2nd course.

Been putting the new additions in bold but there’s no point here, it’s just the MX-5, Clio, Civic and Fiesta’s Cathedral times that are left from the original….

B Daily Drivers (Cathedral Circuit)

Subaru BRZ '13 (Izzumnizzum, slicks) - 58.876

Mazda MX-5 '13 (Izzumnizzum, slicks) - 59.726

Renault Clio R.S 200 EDC (ziperrPL, slicks) - 59.918

Honda Civic '07 (ziperrPL ‘Arzate Auto’, slicks) - 1:00.627

Ford Fiesta '14 (ziperrPL, slicks) - 1:00.727

Vauxhall Corsa (TGM, rallies) – 1:01.662

Toyota Trueno (TGM, rallies) – 1:01.695

Acura RSX (TGM, stock) – 1:02.529

BMW X6 M (TGM, stock) – 1:02.638

VW Golf R ’10 (Dannis6217, stock) – 1:05.165

Panoramica Sprint

BRZ – 2:32.761

MX-5 and Clio – 2:34.496

RSX – 2:35.556

Trueno – 2:35.974

Civic – 2:36.757

X6 – 2:36.790

Corsa – 2:37.140

Fiesta – 2:37.583

Golf R ’10 – 2:41.995

Total

Subaru BRZ (Izzumnizzum) – 3:31.637

Mazda MX-5 ’13 (Izzumnizzum) – 3:34.222

Renault Clio R.S 200 EDC (ziperrPL) – 3:34.414

Honda Civic ’07 (ziperrPL) – 3:37.384

Toyota Trueno (TGM) – 3:37.669

Acura RSX (TGM) – 3:38.085

Ford Fiesta ’14 (ziperrPL) – 3:38.310

Vauxhall Corsa (TGM) – 3:38.802

BMW X6 M (TGM) – 3:39.428

VW Golf R ’10 (Dannis6217) – 3:47.160

One very clear winner here, although that doesn’t mean slicks are the best for every car in the restriction that can fit them, the BRZ has a very good stock engine + bodykit available to further help it.

Third times a charm.

That was frustrating. First two trial attempts and the team just could not be counted on to get points

E: Photo challenge auto completed this week for me

For the pr stunts, one of the caddy’s made easy work of all 3

Just have some tunes to share for this weeks championships, hope you like them
B Fast Be Furious : 2013 Toyota 86. Tune Name : B700 Seasonal 2

Share code : 137 488 917

Saloon Go Vroom : 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe : Tune name : A800 Road Racing

Share Code 198 158 034

Cantera Commute : 2022 Volkswagen Golf R. Tune name : B700 Seasonal

Share Code : 731 888 784

It’s interesting to see that quite a few players bring the Subby but have it tuned with the 8 second tune rather than the 12. Yes, it’s got a slower start but the grip and turn is fantastic giving it the edge and seconds where they count. The 8 second tune has acceleration but grip, well if you enjoy banging off walls, it’s lacking severely. Just goes to show how deceiving some tunes can look when most just look at the 0 to 100 time and go based off that.

Izzum has done a really good job with that tune

I didn’t realise until looking just now that one of the SC’s being B Modern Sports Cars means a lot of people running the BRZ are likely doing it with one tune for both events.

Though given that this week one of the game’s very worst tuners and most false people passed Saeenu for downloads I think we can safely say most of the game’s player base don’t put any thought into the tunes they use, and people like that are oh so happy to exploit it for their own warped sense of achievement.

I ran through last week in a hurry and didn’t remember to post about it until it was over, so here are some irrelevant words. Pretty nondescript week overall, with multiple stock options able to handle the PR stunts. The Civic Type R tore up the Trial; I finished 2nd with an outside chance to chase down the front runaway AI on Cathedral (until I botched my dive-bomb anyway), and then scored an easy win on Panoramica. The only other thing of note was the Tour I chose, which had the “brilliant” restriction of A800 Vans and Utility on cross-country. The only qualifying stock car is that one ute, which as one would expect is miserable on that surface. Shout-out to the jump near the end of the one race that made my car do a multiple front-flip on landing through no fault of my own and ensured that I finished in dead last. Fun gameplay!
