Phew!! Wish I had come across this post first. I’ve just spent 3 hours playing The Eliminator to get the Ultimate Speed Skill. I finally managed to get it in a level 10 Centrino and I just stayed on the main highway rather than cutting across land to try and win.
Easy when you know how but this one will p*** off a lot of people as they’ll assume they need to get it whilst playing Eliminator as I did.
As @Bonzpop probably wished they had too…
Strange that they re-posted theirs after being told it was solved hrs before.

I did it the hard way! Volcano run in an RS level 5 was too slow and nothing spawning near or map reducing too fast to travel back.
After about 5 sessions got it with a Merc GTB I won at level 7 then flawed it on the motorway to go above 200 mph. Went through the map edge but managed to get back so didn’t time out.
Totally agree this is just about getting the numbers up for the Eliminator!
Drove the rs6 up the ravine as in your pic and there was a l5 maserati car drop on the corner where your red line ends
Took it even tho i wasn’t sure the Mas would be fast enough,and it only just managed it; got to 204 by the bottom.
Best part is that i then beat a l7 Bronco in the Mas,and won the Eliminator in the Bronco ![]()

Absolutely no contest again, but the better getaway was noticeable, I was safe by the second tight hairpin in race 1 and it still takes them really well so the extra power is a nice tweak.
It felt really good in race 2. The extra weight kept it more stable on the sweepy sections where it hugged the dirt and powered though the water more effectively.
Crazy strong car and still ridiculously easy to drive. (If you haven’t used your Pulsar yet, this is an open goal ![]()

Good on everyone for finding the Eliminator workaround. I don’t mind the “finish 30th” task, since that’s (usually) not too much of a pain, but this would have been awful to get legit. Still not quite as bad as that “win an Open race in a Ford” task from last year.
I would applaud @BurmaEK getting one of those golden tank awards for best strat.
Agreed that the finish 30th tasks are usually a piece of cake.

How do you unlock the hall of fame for these events. I just unlocked the nismo skyline for 80 points
It’s been a long time but as I remember it, to enter the HoF you just need to Unlock every festival, and accumulate 200,000 Accolade Points. After that you’ll be on there for all events.
May be outdated now as it’s been a while…
Thank you so much for the feedback and giving my tune a test drive. I jumped in some lobby races with the Pulsar today and it’s definitely broken…lol it’s just flat out dominating.
Just took it into a lobby and got my first win of the day bonus against some good opposition. (Someone cool was using a Fury

3 wins, 1 second and a third where it at least set the fastest lap. Better drivers than me can get more out of this too. ![]()
So my first run with the Pulsar I got second to a Datsun… no shame in that, and I never even saw it. I think it had a higher start position and just took off from there. Had to answer the door so I never got to the second race in that set.
On attempt number two there were no Datsuns, but there was another Pulsar. Got two 1st places on that trial, while the other Pulsar was last and second to last.
Definitely a solid tune! The Datsun is still my #1, but the Pulsar is an unexpected addition to the contender list. I need to work up a livery for the Pulsar that I like. I used @ViperousRhyme84 's Steampunk one for the trial, but I think this tune makes the car a candidate for making one of my own.
Thank you @PassionWagon69 & @BravoSteelviper. I love the 510 as well. It’s just rambunctious and feels alive. Where the Pulsar is like driving finishing nails with a sledgehammer. I have been using the Pulsar more on trails. While using the 510 or the 74 Civic on circuits like Baja or Caldera.

Yep that was the one that took me absolutely ages. Probably wouldn’t bother again tbh.
The only other one I never completed was the 1mil drift down the mountain drift zone which I could get 800k on but nothing more. That was brutal.
The HW additions tend to enable me to gold the series without completing 100 per cent now anyway.
