nice tokyo circuit eventlab @VuKKuu and equally good tour papi gamer7597
I’m glad you liked it! Thanks for giving it a try!
Are the rivals events accessible yet?
I did them earlier today, didn’t appear to be any issues
Yes, did them yesterday and rivals popping up today.
Evidently once you photograph the stone lanterns, they disappear again. The rest of the photo challenges this series are variants of stone lantern pics that are only seen in story until spawned for challenge.
I saw odd stuffed cat near lanterns, saw mentioned in a survey but didn’t see anything pop up when I ran over it. (I like cats so no vitriol, stocked up thx)
The lucky cat statues appear to be for the collectible challenge in the 3rd week of the series.
Festival Playlist Tunes Feb. 2 - 9 (Summer S17)
The Trial | Sprint Series | Road Racing | (A800) Japan
NSX-R GT Share Code: 100-367-012
One of my best tunes! This tune is not for beginners. It’s a RWD rivals/race tune. If you hit your marks this car will reward you big time. This tune is close to unbeatable. I routinely beat up on Bone Shakers with this tune in the lobbies. No way you are losing any trial with this tune. I recommend only seasoned drivers use this tune.
2018 Civic Type R

If you don’t have the NSX-R. This FWD tune is fast, predictable and very fun to drive. You can place anywhere from 1st to 3rd overall with this tune. Give it a try it is awesome!
Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Sky’s the Limit
2002 GT-R Share Code: 676-036-953
This tune will 3 star the Airfield Speed Zone. Give yourself a run up on either side so that you hit the Speed Zone at 150mph. You can go both ways and 3 star it easily.

Championship | Mazda of the Streets | Road Racing | (B700) Mazda
97 RX-7 Share Code: 108-913-425
Handles great, yes it has an ugly body kit. It’s fast though so no one can really see it.
Seasonal Championship
05 WRX STI Share Code: 587-155-483
06 EVO Share Code: 124-476-000
Both tunes are absolute rockets. Pick your preference between Mitsubishi and Subaru and go win! Make sure to shift at 5,500 on the STI.

Easy peasy here!
Do you have a tune for the new Z for share?
Ugh. That speed trap. Or something was jinky earlier. Tried a few Jesko tunes several times including one I had from before that I was sure would do it. Nothing was working though. Strangeness seemed the norm, like one run having enough speed at about 300kph right before the trap, only to be 5kph short on the trap (maybe it skipped airborne for a second right there ?), and immediately back to over 300kph right after the trap. Like ? Seriously ?
Anyway, just came back, went to my go-to source, loaded up their tune, and one and done easy with spare and a new PB 325.0kph. Yes. It is that good a tune so I’m happy to flog it here.

2023 Nissan Z A800 Tune
As Rayne pointed out the new Z is not a disappointment! In A-Class RWD it’s very capable as one of the best no-aero, no-powerbuild RWD cars out there. This tune is a RWD grip tune. No ugly forza aero. Very easy car to drive and it’s fast! I ran about 5 trials with this tune and it’s a consistent winner placing first overall and no worse than 2nd. Stock motor, no aero, no drivetrain conversions.

didn’t do much in stock cars; the two PR stunts I used the preset versions of the Taycan S WP, the offroad one was first-time on the trap and the drift one massacred the drift zone
Whilst the Mugden with Cash’s tune on it is nice to drive, i’m surprised people are winning with it.
It must be me and the matchmaking i gather because the Mug doesn’t hold much ground against the players i’ve come up against.
Strongest cars i’ve driven in Trial are the Subby 2019B, Both Honda NSX-R’s and the Supra’s.
The Subby with Grandma Drivings tune is especially strong and the 1992 Honda just absolutely smashes the field (with the Subby right next to it i might add). The Supra’s with good tunes are strong but lack overall against the Subby and Honda’s but still a top 3 for me.
I totally agree, there are definitely other cars out there that are faster! I have the driven the car a lot and got 3rd in the first race and 2nd in the 2nd race!
But isn’t it fun to make someone in the new Z or an NSX sweat while an 84 CRX rides their tail!
I’m glad you found the tune fun to drive, thanks for giving it a try!
True.
Haven’t tried the new Z yet…will give it a crack later
I have one shared with the 3.2l I6 swap and no aero.
It’s a little bit lighter than a stock engine build but the pace difference is small. The stock engine is surprisingly good.
Oh, that tune is fantastic. How do you get it so smooth like that. This really puts the cat among the pigeons in my eyes.
stock suggestions
“Sky’s the Limit” weekly - no upgrades needed
both EventLabs - I’d think any eligible car can do them (don’t remember what I used)
“Mountainside” speed trap - failed with a stock but the Taycan S WP with rally preset nailed it first time
“Arbolada” drift zone - didn’t try a stock, the Taycan S WP with drift preset massacred it first time
“Mazda of the Streets” championship - RX-7 Spirit R - quite easy
“Very Imprezzed” championship - in race order Lancer MR '04, Subaru STI S209, Subaru WRX '15 - all easy wins
HW “Supersonic Spiral” speed zone - Koenigsegg Jesko - quite ugly but quite easy
HW “Can’yon Do” championship - Honda Civic '16 - in race order easy, quite easy, noticeably harder (but enough done by that point)
I’m pleasantly surprised by the variety in this week’s Trial, I thought Japan A800 would just equal a Skyline fest.
I’ll throw the S2000 with Bard’s tune into the mix, good solid car.
I wound up trying the drift zone in the Skyline I was already driving from the Forzathon challenge, and even in that very unoptimal car I managed to beat the target score without a problem. And the Rimac makes the speed trap absolutely trivial…hell, it makes a lot of things trivial.
Is your GT Rayne_SE? I can’t find your tune. Now that I made that purist tune. I’m going to try a motor swap and different tire compounds. Probably going to keep it RWD as I don’t really prefer AWD especially in A class. The car seems to have enough mechanical grip to maybe handle drifts? I definitely do not want to put forza aero on this car. It would just ruin the looks.
