Speaking of exclusive cars being locked behind seasonal championships, I didn’t even realize until last night looking at accolades, that I totally missed last season’s ‘23 Porsche 911 Turbo S Took me a while, but managed to snag one from the AH.
Missing it & the additional work to get it, inspired me to spend some time on a livery for it. Cueing off the #92 911 RSR design style, put this together & even did a couple new vinyls. All are shared for anyone interested. Thanks to anyone who decides to check it out & hope you like it.
No complaints from me for AOM the AI didn’t cheat or anything the Trophy Truck just wasn’t good enough, bizarrely it’s handling is fine but the straight line oomph is non-existent, after launch even those cars you see the humans using above were out-accelerating it.
Sounds great with the LFA’s engine swapped in but just a shame there is very little movement generated by it, anything I gained on the lead AI in the town section was lost on the start/finish straight + lead up to the first corner.
The 4 Valle attempts beforehand were just awful, this restriction contains some of the strongest all-around B class cars yet still all some are capable of coming up with when driving them is to ram, push and corner bomb their way past a Trophy Truck of all things
Hi!
I hope I post this in the right category.
I have an issue with this playlist events. In the first winter season, the playlist UP TO THE CHALLENGE that is worts 5 points, and reward is a DODGE DURANGE.
From all 5 races, I would only get one that is marked with gold colour for winning first place, it’t the City Slicker Circuit.
The other one that I still finish first place are not marked with gold colour.
For example EXCLUSIVE EVENT: NISSAN EAZY , I won firts place and it will not mark it with gold colour, it’s still with white colour. I finished it twice first place just to make sure.
UP TO THE challenge as well I finished it first place twice and the game will not mark it with gold colour, it’s still white.
Does anyone else have this error?
How can I get this events marked with gold colour?
UP TO THE CHALLENGE and NISSAN EAZY are championships and not one off races. When you start either of those 3 races will appear on the map and you have to race all of those and finish first overall in the championship to get the rewards.
Very close and interesting one. I lose around 0.5 seconds off the line due to the lack of low rpm torque. Then I close in through the flowy part due to the lower weight.
You pull away again out of the slow turns and I close in again towards the line because mine carries more speed.
The car is actually fun and given its size quite okay. Way better than what PG did with the Z Nismo.
Very nice. I’m just happy it was close. I was expecting a beatdown. I think I’ll keep the W12 in mine and hope we get another Flying Spur at some point for a V10 swap.
I drove that Flying Spur some more … not because I was trying to be competitive but more to improve at tuning. Too often I stay satisfied with my first version and put off fine tuning for later when I know there is stuff I still need to learn. This was good for me … I think I’m a better FH player now than I was a week ago.
First I drove against my 1:37.481 ghost to see if there was any driving problems. It was pretty good for me, so I started trying different stuff to get the most out of the choice to use race suspension. The thing that immediately helped was running with less camber. I settled on 1.2/0.5 f/r (pretty straight up), added a little tire pressure, and that knocked more than 0.25 seconds off my other time, with a little more possible. Messing with toe changed the character, sometimes feeling better, but made it slower overall.
01:37.214 so far. (Edit: improved to 01:37.130 with the same tune.)
Sharecode 156 385 948 … Cloverleaf v1.03 … if anyone’s interested in a little better version than my last. But I’m going to come back some other time this week and really work on spring stiffness, hoping that I learn stuff that helps me out going forward like the deeper dive into camber did.
I’d left the game while using the Jaguar XJR-15, which admittedly builds up to 5x extremely quickly
started, hit accelerate, pop - no skill chain had built up, I’m not even sure the car was through the arch out of Hotel Castillo, first multiplier I saw was 4x
Finally finished the latest project on a car I’ve been wanting to do for a while now: the Jesko. Thought I’d share it here for anyone interested. Between the design work & new vinyls, it took several days to complete, but felt like it was worth the effort & it turned out pretty well. Thanks to anyone who checks it out & hope you like it.
Yeah, that happened to me too. It popped for me before I even knew it was a daily task.
Another annoying Trial this week, mostly because of Valle del Rio. Everyone got off to a clean(ish) start, but we had 3 AI engage the afterburners and rocket away from us, and we didn’t have a hope of tracking them down. Even on the other two successful races, there was at least one AI (it’s always Tristan) running away with it. I was in the stock Civic, and when I finished in 2nd on the third race the leading AI was a full four seconds clear of me. This feels like it’s been happening more often than not recently. I don’t mind the Trial being challenging, but when it’s physically impossible to beat the AI, it’s far less enjoyable.
Well this was…something, did the Charger/Challenger SC earlier and had 2 teammates that must have been trolling, but then one of them ended up being the reason it was done after 2 races…
Guy on 200pts quit between here and the end so it finished 1250-1200 to us, you can see those bottom two just at the top of the mini-map.
Then that only other good player dropped out halfway through Carretera, at the time I snapped this I was thinking of doing the same seeing as I was left with just them two…
