PLAYLIST POINTS
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists, or you can use a Backstage Pass to select from the available options.
Two cars are added with the change of each season and voting for the next week beings. See details on Horizon Backstage voting, car selection, and passes here.

I’d like to say my Soarer’s so much quicker than the rest but it isn’t, I just got lucky on the roundabout cut with it, from that to the ‘98 Silvia any of them could have finished fastest if I’d done the same, I’m sure there’s people who can perfect the line through the roundabout consistently but I’m not one of them, Wetland’s never been a course I particularly like so never been interested enough to get stuck into finding the most precise lines on there.
Tried to keep the list interesting and without an obvious winner from the start so left out the NSX as it’s walked every A class test I’ve used it in in the past, there’s also a load of MC required cars/builds that will be able to go quite a bit faster than my Soarer did that there’s no point in me testing in auto, Alfa 155, GMC Syclone, Nissan Stagea, R33 Skyline etc along with the ‘98 Silvia and Supra powerbuilds that are all common in A class, as well as a couple of standard RWD cars that aren’t powerbuilds but MC is still essential.
I’ll share my Soarer on Thursday, the one I have shared already is a no aero build specifically for Marathon so all that would be good for on Wetland is getting a close-up look at the trees
Enjoyed driving every car here but my favourite was that little Sera, so I took it on the 2nd course which is Bosque Del Sur….
The trial was carnage for me. I made 2 attempts at completing it but on both occasions. I had lead the pack quite quickly but had controller drop out about half way through the events and with the exception of 2 other players in each, both my sessions had the worst players I’ve ever seen ramming from the start and seemingly unable do anything else
The second race on the second session had an odd AI car thing where it got stuck on a tree and I passed it only for it to teleport in front of me about 10% further along the route
I got my 40 points from the other events so I’m quite happy to leave the trial behind
I had some weird AI experiences, 11th or 12th place finishing ahead of me type stuff. The AI swerved to side-swipe me repeatedly, absolutely no reason for the manoeuvres other than that, which slowed me down. Curiously the humans were well-behaved which is unusual.
I really liked the trial. Good routes, no traffic, nice selection of cars including some really strong A class choices. It had replayability (unlike stock only trials … I hate when votes for seasons with those win).
So I did it 50+ times using a variety of cars. Alfa 155s, R33s and R32s are all good ones.
I hadnt messed with A class Nissan R33s before, was saving it. Built race weight and sport weight versions of both, with race spoilers and without. V8s with centrifugal superchargers seem to be the way to go. I havent tried sport weight with a spoiler yet, but sport weight with no race aero seems like the best setup for these kind of races … so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if sport weight with a race spoiler is the actual winner.
Here’s sport weight with no aero from the last and second to last rows:
