I highly doubt it. Only the big 3 of FWD are below/around this mark ('97 Civic, Integra, '03 Celica). None of the Hot Hatch FWDs is on their pace.
The Golf R32 & a FWD powerbuild '09 Mini will do 3:02s. The Corsa, '10 Clio & '07 Civic 3:03s.
The rest seems weaker but all should do at least 3:05s.

I know you weren’t asking me but I thought I’d have a look, left me with a question, though, as I feel I must be missing part of the story. It’s easy to get under 3 minutes in a Hot Hatch in the Copper Canyon Sprint; VW Scirocco '11, 2:41.495 at PI 908 and 2.52.773 at PI 855 (no conversion for that one), both full autopilot (so not very fast). Was there another restriction? Must have been.
Trial restriction of B700 because Copper Canyon is the first race of it

Interesting to know that it’s possible, though. I usually am not taking hot hatches that high on the PI scale. Except when tasks force me to.
Overall I like the changes they made to the drivatars for the trial races. Now we just need an update for teammates… I’ve have had more 0-2 teams this week than ever.

Even with blocking AI?
I had to slow down AI in probably 15-20% of races (races, not Trials). More at 2nd race due to pile ups on first two corners, but “chicane of death” + bridges reaped their harvest too in 1st race.
“Lost” 3 or 4 Trials from… IDK how many runs. Where two of them are rage quits due to intentional ramming.
PS. stock PI is no excuse

Was using “stock” Golf - ARB+wider rear tires+sport gearbox.
I swear AI in this Trial was much slower than in any other.
Game crashed at the end of 2nd race.

Looks like the challenge is matchmaking. It’s what happens with the trial anytime difficulty increases whether it’s a faster class like the FH4 trial this week or faster drivatars that still blast players off the road.
It’s stating the obvious I know.

Fortunately i completed the Trial in the Sirocco on Friday. Came 3rd in each race which is alright considering the Golfs it was up against. This week is no good for me, the reverse bug annoys me no end. Basically did everything bar the dailies of course and didn’t bother doing any again or attempting any solo races due to the reverse bug. First issue that has affected me in a long time (there also seems to be a rewind glitch for me too where i can only go back 1 rewind, and that’s where it stays, so of course it doesn’t go back before the flag). Hopefully they fix it in an update before the next season…hopefully…
I don’t think it’s consistent for everyone but, for me, turning LC on pretty much ensures that I never launch backwards (just have to double shift from 1st to 2nd most of the time).

I’m thinking that’s what caused it. I initially had it on (by default) and hated the double shift so i turned it off and thats when i seen the reverse issue come up.
Problem is that I can’t use LC even if I wanted to as I have no E-Brake available since the Oct OS mess.
So I always have it turned off.

Yes i’m quite enjoying FH4 trial a lot at the moment - S2 and tracks are the decent ones
