Festival Playlist events and rewards Apr. 21-28 (Spring S6)

You need a fine tuned car, not just one with some parts swapped out.
Brake balance rear 120% for example.
I did the reservario sprint in pvp, 2cars, me with a 92 c600 cosworth and my friend let me win. Counted

didn’t knew this is called “fine” thx for info

I got annoyed at this one because I tried being clever by going cross country. In the end, I retuned the diff for my usual settings for road racing (Front accel 20%, decel. 0%; Rear accel 75%, decel. 0%) and stuck to the dirt road, hitting the required speed without any problems.

Same could be said about Unbeatable beating tunes. You know: all power, no handling wallriding tunes.
For example Eley9’s Alloff tunes.

I never use Eleys tunes because they suck.

I have completed all 4 tour championships in Series 1 - yes i am certain, otherwise series 1 wouldn’t be golden (maximum amount of points). But there is an Accolade for having completed 10 Horizon-Tour Challenges, and it unlocked for me on December 2nd. When did you unlock this accolade? Maybe you have completed it earlier than me. Maybe it is one of the first challenges that broke the accolade for me?

Since it came from 1 bad experience in a Trial with this restriction in FH4 I thought I may have been exaggerating or being overly harsh when I’ve said it but it happened again in this Trial.

There really are people out there going into an event against Unbeatable difficulty AI who can’t even handle stock Imprezas, some of the most docile + forgiving cars in the game.

I maxed everything out on car I used, and then adjusted gearing, suspension and aero, set up a blueprint race with zero drivatars on a sprint course which ended near the treasure chest location and it worked like a charm.

I was pleasantly surprised in the five Trials so far. Never needed the third race and quite a lot of players with the correct tire compound.

One thing I have noticed about the ai in the trial and in fact in all dirt races against ai is that on the dirt sections the ai seems to get a boost and they pull away, it’s very noticable on mixed surface races especially when a race switch’s between asphalt and dirt, I get up close behind ai on the asphalt and can easily keep pace, but as soon as it switch’s to dirt the ai boosts away.

Not trying to doubt your tuning skills, but are you certain that your suspension and ride height is good for off-road as well as asphalt? I’ve experienced the same issues you describe and it was typically attributed to one of those 2 things. In FH4 I know my overall ride heights were at least 30% lower, but in FH5 it seems many vehicles fare better with nearly maxed-out ride heights.

I’m only 1 win from 3 trials. I’ve done okay but lots seem to struggle when the road goes off of straight on, the first 90° turn in the second race in particular.

Well I tried various different suspension and adjusting ride height, it makes no difference like I said its like the ai gets a boost as soon as they hit dirt, also they are not slowed by water, so I don’t think its anything to do with my tuning set up at all.

Yeah, I have the same Dec 2 date for the 10 Horizon Tour Challenges (last one in the second column of the Festival Playlist group). But there are a number of other accolades with the same date that should be earlier, or even later.

I completed all the dailies and weeklies in Series 1. I don’t remember if I was able to do the Expedition and Story ones at the end of Series 1 Autumn since those had trouble if they were all already completed, but between Series 0 and the first 3 weeks of Series 1, I would’ve completed more than 12 dailies before Dec 2. The weekly one should be earlier as well. And since I only missed 2 things in Series 1 (Arcade in Autumn, eliminate 3 opponents in a single Eliminator in Winter), I should have the activity and rewards accolades for the Wet, Storm and Dry seasons in the 5th through 7th columns before Dec 2, but that’s when they’re marked.

But the bottom one in the 7th column, Seven Day Wonder for completing all dailies in the same series, would either be dated Nov 10 or 11 for Series 0 or no earlier than Dec 8, when the final daily for Series 1 became active. It shouldn’t be dated Dec 2, but it is for me.

Though going through the support pages, the Dec 3 release notes have “Fixed an issue where some completed Accolades could reset to being incomplete”. So it’s possible that some of those accolades that should be earlier were completed, got reset and the update marked them as completed again with the Dec 2 date. If the Series 0 dailies counted for Seven Day Wonder, then that could explain why that is Dec 2. But unless that 10 Tour accolade was bugged from the start and counted extra Tour runs, then I can’t see how that could have been completed by Dec 2, since there were only 5 challenges by that point (not counting the 5th daily in Series 1 Winter for completing a Tour, which I don’t think would count).

Treasure hunt help.

If you’re having trouble with the Treasure hunt here’s a link to Stevio2175’s YouTube guide. It’s an excellent resource for the hunt.

My experience is that the AI is usually weaker on the dirt than asphalt, so I catch them rapidly as soon as we hit the dirt section. I’ve only tried this trial once though - the second race seemed to be the only slightly tricky one.

Learn how to trim links properly. So much clutter. Besides the fact that we can google it ourselves, absolutely EVERYTHING after “tuned” is completely unnecessary.

That’s ok dude, I will continue to help as I see fit. No worries.

You may run the risk of having your posts edited or removed by a mod, then. Besides the Google search result link instead of a direct link, the video was already posted yesterday by the person that made it.

Anyone else find the AI a bit “lively” in the Modern Muscle championship?

Maybe the car I was driving wasn’t quite up to it but they seemed really competitive for highly skilled, maybe more so than I raced in the trial.
