Ok, one observation and question regarding the Trial as I had some odd situation during the previous season as well:
1st race: I’ve won but the team lost
2nd race: as above, but the game gives us a 3rd race. Well, strange, shouldn’t happen, but fine.
3rd race: the same situation, I’ve won but the team lost, and… the game gives us a victory.
Didn’t the Trial become a participation trophy? Has anybody actually lost the Trial recently??
I must admit this isn’t the first time I’ve won the Trial under questionable circumstances, but I assumed it was because of players behind me doing better than I’d anticipated when, it seemed, we should’ve suffered an outright loss.
But this time I know that blue team ought to have lost at the end of the second race.
Comfortable enough Trial thankfully after reading Oregon’s post about the ones that beat them, Zip and Rayne, was practically at a standstill going around the 1st corner on Afueras (like seemingly everyone’s Trial an AI also mounted the rocks there) and a teammate annoyingly swerved from the outside to the inside of the long curve after Hotel Castillo while going a snail’s pace causing me to hit them slap bang in their rear as I was trying to pass while going much faster, got past then took the lead AI on the next corner though so a cruise to the end from there, thought my finishing time would be a lot worse as the beginning to Guanajuato felt miles slower.
Tunnel Run not much to say, AI swerved in front of me at the start again causing me to slam right into the back of them but was already in 1st before the first tunnel, another cruise to the finish from there.
M5 tune is by xiaoyuge233, excellent tune for a car I’ve always taken very little notice of, it’s just one of those cars that fades into the background but that along with the C63 Black with Jumpy’s tune were easily the biggest surprises for me this week, highly recommend both for this, Tour and any future seasonal events on road/street that involve them.

Had to be one of the quickest 20pts in a while & a new record for the quickest Forzathon challenge. If you’ve not yet completed these & you’re looking for a quick reference, here’s what I can offer to make it as easy as possible:
#Forzathon
Start in the car of your choice with an upgraded tune (I used @x_ShadowsBane_x ’s S1 for the Lancer Evo) on the Aeródromo Drag Strip. As you launch down the strip you will complete the first 2 challenges in a matter of seconds, hit photo & take a pic, which takes care of the 3rd challenge, then hit the Danger sign at the end, bank the score, rewind, repeat & you’re done.
Treasure Hunt
You just need to bank 5 individual “SkillBoard” skills for it to trigger. *Allow each one to bank the skill before going to the next one. Then just travel to the “Basejump” Danger Sign at the Horizon Rush Outpost & it’s literally right there.
Photo Challenge
Simply travel to the baseball stadium landmark symbol in Guanajuato in your favorite “Sport Utility Hero”, shoot your pic & you’re done.

I don’t think I’d ever driven this one, but @CashlessPlains8 helped me narrow down my choice on the “German B700” cross country event. So here’s a livery for it, for those who don’t want to ride with stock paint.
I had one of those “we lost but they gave it to us anyways” Trials. I won all three events, but had a team full of people who don’t understand what brakes are. I think only one of them was intentionally trying to ram, and I don’t mind carrying people, but come on, how hard is it to brake?
Thankfully once I dodged the first corner chaos I was gone. I knew my RWD 1M tune was good, but I didn’t realize it was that good.
First race we won. I got held up a bit at first just due to having nowhere to go in front of me, but I ended up blasting past everyone eventually.
Second race was on tunnel run, which is my favourite race in the game. I’ve mastered those first few corners, especially when dealing with interference, and was also starting at the front of the player’s half, so by the first tunnel I had smoothly inserted myself in first. Then came the dilemma as I saw my team truly struggle: The only way we were likely to win was for me to block, but blocking on tunnel run is likely to do more harm than good. I decided to just have my own fun and not worry about it.
Third race was a similar story. I won easily but the team struggled to even stay on the road. We ended up losing by a significant margin, and the screen said defeat, but then the post-race screen comes up saying blue team won. I’ll take it. I love Super Saloon on street, but I don’t want to do that again. I just hate randoms.

I can’t figure out why this happens. I’ve lost recently, and also gotten the 3-race participation win, it seems random
It has happened so many times for me but In the case above from Bulbes10 they said that the team lost the first race so that’s why the 3rd race was triggered. That’s normal. You need to have a team win in 2 of the 3 races so nothing out of the ordinary there.
The weird ones are when you win or lose the first two and it still triggers after the second.
what I’m saying is, I’ve gotten the win with 2 losses
