Just got this in this morning and thought I would share my thoughts on it.
In short, I love it! It’s heavier than the Italia rim so the Force feedback doesn’t move the wheel around as easily. This makes it possible to bump up the FFB a bit more than you would with the stock rim. I found that I was able to use Sim steering again. I find the weight of the rim helps sim steering mode on FM5. Like I stated above, the FFB isn’t able to spin the rim as fast. The law of inertia working here lol. I like the fact that the rim is just a round rim and doesn’t have the ergonomic design of the Italia rim. It makes it better for 900 degree hand over hand steering. The flapply paddles have a slightly better feel than the Italia rim, although I didn’t have an issue with the paddles on the Italia rim. The GTE rim feels less notchy as well. The only downside might be that there are fewer buttons than the Italia, not a factor for the Xbox One, but maybe on the PC.
So for an extra 150 dollars or so, you get a nice upgrade for your TX. Highly recommended :slight_smile:

I just picked this add on up myself however every button works but no pedal or steering input. Works great on my pc with iRacing though.

Do you have the latest firmware? Also could try unplugging the wheel usb from console and re-plugging it back in. Last thing to try is a console reboot, hold the guide button on the console for 5 seconds or so till it shuts off. Turn it back in on and you should aee thw green logo at startup. If not I would contact Thrustmaster or MS.
