I played 1,2,3,7 and FM 2023 and it would be 2. Prooving grounds was such a good idea, why in FM 2023 I forced to drive stupid short version of tracks in every single C and D event race? Going around the stands and back is so boring.
Unironically '23. Test drive to earn credits and having actual motivation to use different cars and drive on different tracks is a gameplay loop I find more rewarding than repeating certain races ad nauseum.
Forza 7 for the extended looooong âcareerâ mode(at least they tried) and FM23 for rivals and freeplay only(itâs sooo much fun to play with a wheel, each car feels different). I also like the way FM23 looks, even though it doesnât match the promo shots at all.(I blame the X-Box crappy series-s)
Forza Motorsport (2023) does a lot of things right and in many areas is âbetterâ than recent titles, but itâs also regressed in quite a few ways vs my favourites.
I remember a demo was released the track was Mugello Club but canât remember the choice of cars now.
Thatâs when I first got into hot lapping as a few people on a different forum organised a time trial event as that was all you could do. I used a pad, chase-cam and auto gears back then.
Also won the silver tier tournament in a R5 GTT as that was meta car at that time.
Although FM23 isnât a complete a game as previous versions Iâve still had a lot of fun with it competing in the the HLR HLCs and the current PHLS. Had some great races in multiplayer too. I donât really care about career mode but from what I have played itâs poor.
I remember playing that one too. Takes me back to like Easter or Christmas 2007. I was like 3 years old and it was my first Forza game. I wasnât too young to play it, itâs for all ages.
Definitely FM2 for me. It was the sole reason for me to buy an Xbox 360 at the time. FM2 was the last in the series to feature local leaderboards, which would keep track of the best times that you set with multiple cars within the same class. I think it was like maybe 5 or 6 of your top times per classâŚwouldâve been great if it kept track of more and I was hoping that later versions of the game would expand on this and give us even more detail. Instead, local leaderboards disappeared altogether and we gotâŚRivals. Which is ok for what it is, but itâs just not the same thing.
I canât vote because the first Forza Motorsport I played was âForza Motorsport 6: Apexâ. And that game wasnât even a full version of FM6, it was just some sort of tech demo for PC. If I remember correctly I had to buy a DLC to get Nordschleife for the game lol.
Then I played FM7 and now FM23. Currently FM7 of course is still the best if I compare the 3 games and had to choose one. It had more tracks, cars etc.
But maybe if they keep updating the game, then FM23 is better in like a year or two, we donât know how much effort and money they will put into the game. Of course it already looks better, but it lacks content, the sound is mostly unsatisfying etc. they have a lot of work to do.
FM7
FM23
FM6: Apex well regular FM6 because there is no Apex option.
Forza Motorsport 4 hands down, it was a perfect racing game. There were some features that would have been nice to haves, but it striked the absolute perfect balance and didnât bog itself down with bloat.
My favorite is probably FM4 but, I cannot play it today and double check that. I just know, I played it while my friends list was off to other games and genres.
Kind of sounds similar to how I play FM23⌠Oh well.
Fm2 to fm3 was a big change, fm3 was the beginning of modern forza, breaking away from gran turismos influence. Fm3 is very similar to fm4, with fm4 just being an improved version. Its similar to how fm6 compares to fm7, though fm6 had better sounds than 7. If you played fm4 theres really no reason to go back and play fm3.
It was a cool track but i only really used it to cruise around on. It was challenging in rivals and i guess if you like to drift it was good, but it wasnt a great race track. I just never felt like there was any part that was memorable about it. Its basically how i feel about fujimi.
My favorite of the old locations was Camino Viejo, which included the ladera test track and the iberian international circuit. I had so many great races there.
