Fanatec csl elite p1 wheel oscilating left and right on straights

I have the Fanatec csl elite with the p1 wheel, on straights the wheel will bounce left and right if i let go of the wheel and even on corners catching a slide for instance i can feel the wheel wanting to shake and wobble which creates tank slappers often. i Just can not get it to stop unless i basically turn off the ffb. Im driving normal road cars just in free play, i have a golf R in real life and even at 150 it definately does not want to tank slap the wheel when you let go lol.

Can anybody reccomend some settings for me? or what to change to sort it out.

thanks

I just got mine last week and have similar problems. I also get terrible wheel shake when I brake, just a light touch causes it to shake like mad. I’ve tried adjusting almost everything and nothing improves it. Nothing I’ve read on the forum has helped in the slightest. I upgraded from a Logitech G920 and that was just as bad. IMO any other racing game is better than FM7.

I’ve got the same setup, and I’ve been working through several different versions of what people have posted on here. Right now I’ve got the oscillation to a minimum, but the feeling is not where I’d like it, it seems slightly dead feeling. I can tell when I’m getting understeer with this setup, but it still lacks a bit of the nibbles on cobblestones and such that I’d like.

I’m at work right now, but I can post what I’m using later this evening. I’m not done fiddling with mine, and there are some in the “Tell us what you think” thread that are using FACR Mechanical’s setup and getting good results, but I have not tried the latest one from him yet.

Fanatec wheels in xbox one mode scale up the ffb from the game significantly, try to setting your FF value somewhere around 30-40 and see how that goes. I am on a much more powerful fanatec and I had very very bad oscillations after the December update I no longer get them since they fixed those issues.
