Failure to connect to Horizon Life since I bought the game.

Hey guys. I’ve been doing so many things with the CMD.exe and with Teredo in general. The game doesn’t let me join Horizon Life.
Please help me who ever got to fix the problem! I will appreciate every try to help me. Thank you!

P.S. The XBOX app wasn’t showing me “Some services are experiencing issues” so try to not pay attention on it. It pop up only in this moment.

Same here. We need a solution! I bought the game to play online…

Same here to, sinte the game start… 90 euro game -,-"

Exactly the same situation as mine. Im really pissed about this.
Both, my xbox and the xbox app is showing me issues with service and I got the
same error in the game as you.

There is multiple solutions to this.

First to try is this one:

  1. Click Start , type services.msc in Start search box and hit Enter.
  2. Right-click the Peer Networking Grouping service and select Properties .
  3. Check if the service is started; if not, right-click and select Start .
  4. You may also set the Startup type to Automatic under Properties .
  5. Click OK .
and restart the computer. if that dosent work. do this to.
. Run command Prompt as administrator
  6. Type “netsh” and press enter
  7. Type “int teredo” and press enter
  8. Type “set state disabled” and press enter
  9. Type “int ipv6” and press enter
  10. Type “set teredo client” and press enter

I would do both in your case, for me this works every time.
Also in Services look for IP Helper, make sure it RUNS!

It can be also an integrated Firewall in your modem/router that is blocking ports.
I would create a DMZ or just allow the ports through the Port Forwarding option.
I am pretty sure the required port’s are somewhere to be found.

Same problem here playing on XBOX ONE S via Game Pass.

Can I perform this on my XBOX as well? And if so, how do I do it?

On one PC and another copy of the game, I can connect to Horizon Life. On another computer, nope. Same internet connection.

Tried every ‘help’ that I can find online. I’ve been giving myself a headache with this for 24 hours.

I got a similar error, but my ‘Quality of connection’ is fine

I contacted support and they send me this link: Multiplayer Connection Troubleshooting - Forza Support
I tried every solution but I still get same error.

Same problem.

Exactly same error since I bought the game. Come on, we need the real solution!

Not sure if this will help but since Horizon 3 on PC, my friends and I found you must have the firewall turned on your computer. Something about the firewall off doesn’t let some games connect. So we found this to be the solution for us, this might not even be the same issue all of you are having but hopefully it helps someone.

Open the Xbox app on your computer. Settings gear on bottom left panel. Then click Network tab. Make sure it says NAT: Open (ours did), and below that is Server Connectivity: Connected (our issue was this wouldn’t say connected). So the fix was the open the action center or control panel. Go to windows firewall. And turn it on (make sure its on for the Private or Public type of active connection you have. After this, we had to reopen the Xbox app or restart the game and it would show Connected.

Xbox one S same issue, NOT SOLVED for almost two weeks!

I have been having the same problem on xbox one I try to connect to horizon live, it say finding horizon life session then says joining session but then nothing happens

xbox one has issues finding a horizon life session. every time me and my friends go to play a co-op game it kicks us out of a server and then we have to wait forever to join another to be able to play another race. very disappointed with this game. why can’t i host my own story like the last horizon game?

I can assure you that you are not alone in this issue, and the dev has been neglecting us for a long time. Here’s a 7 page deep thread that speaks of the same issue as you.

We have tried everything - firewalls, service enabling, fiddle with teredo setting, port forwarding, update / revert Windows. Everything.
