Basically I was advised to recheck my xbox settings, my router blah, blah, blah… which I already did so I went right to ACC after closing FM2023 and see: there’s no issue to connect to the game servers of ACC in the same setting (no-xbox-restart)…

Sorry the question: I’m new to this forum so I’m not sure how to vote?

just found out the “vote” button at the beginning of the email chain and did it!

How can we get more vote? This issue has been not solved since over two weeks now and the only racing currently working is ACC. Luckily it also has Nuerburgring Nordschleife so I’m not totally desparate. Still it would be nice if other car types outside the GT2/3/4 classes can be used.
Maybe we need to wait until the next AC comes out so that FM2023 will feel the headwind?

Steam and XBOX seem to be on the same page :smiling_face_with_tear:

Tell people to vote.

I don’t know why it only happenes to some specific people. Are the game saves on the server broken for me?
Can you try make a secondary account and then switch back to your main account?

Please Vote.

Currently I can’t add a new user to switch: the circle keeps rotating…
Something is not right with the access to xbox-network…
Strange that xbox status website reports all green…
My location is Michigan 48307 USA…

You mean the green circle from the xbox or the circle in game?

Contact support and report the issue immediately.

After even I could not add a new user I connect the xbox to a different wifi (mobile phone hotspot) and voila: everything works - anyone has a recommendation how to check my router settings?
Strange is that I have not changed my router settings since I’ve got the xbox and until two weeks ago things were working perfectly…
Thanks

Find the manual.

What type of connection you use? ADSL , VDSL , FTTH?

I’m on a DD-WRT router connected to a cable modem (coax), service provider is Xfinity

problem solved: UPnP enabled on router and port 7034 therefore open, NAT type changed then from Moderate to Open and all is working now

My NAT is open too.

Since I started playing at launch, the message that there is no connection always appeared but I clicked 1, 2 times to try again and then it connected. But from a week ago to now the same message as always appears but now I need to click about 5, 6 times until it supposedly connects, but then a “no connection” message appears and doesn’t disappear anymore… It ends up loading the shaders and changes for the initial screen and still nothing.

Hello @StraiNN4846 . Submit a ticket to forza support too.

Same to me and I solved it yesterday: you need to check whether your NAT on the xbox is OPEN or MODERATE.
Mine was MODERATE and it’s been like what you also had experienced which was acceptable until two weeks ago.
It seems that the game now really needs NAT to be OPEN before registration is possible at all.
There are several guides on the web how to make your internet connection fitting to multiplayer-games such as Forza Motorsport.
I’ve enabled UPnP on my router which makes the problem goes away as my NAT went to OPEN.
But UPnP is usually unsafe for your network as any device within can requests ports to be forwarded bypassing the router’s firewall.
When I have time I’ll try to get NAT to OPEN -not using UPnP- but rather manually thru DMZ & port-forwarding (7034) settings.
We’ll see…

I’m not sure why the problem still persists on yours.
Maybe it’s time to post hint to the FM2023 support team in particularly hinting to the issue with NAT and see whether they can recommend if beside NAT any port forwarding or more should be checked?
