European Automotive (Series 31) & Car Pack info | Feb. 27

With the exception of the Valkyrie the cars for this season (and car pack) are super underwhelming.
What a bummer, I was looking forward to this update.

perfectly said!

Seriously ??! That’s 30 minutes of our lives we won’t get back and all for 9 points ?
Eurgh.

I am kind of satisfied with the series/ car pack, even though half of the decisions made when PGG is choosing cars seems weird to me.
And after lowering the bar with the Chinese automotive this series feels like high.

Other than the same festival playlist, i was at least eager to see the new car pack related to the “european automotive” theme. And it’s just doesn’t spark my interest. I like the continental gt convertable , i understand the Pininfarina Battista being in there but the other 2… An uninteresting concept car and an old wagon. Is this the pinacle of European Automotive?

Im going to sleep

Some very nice cars. Looking foward. I’m missing 3 cars because i had PC issues recently and i was moving houses too. If you guys could add them down the line on forzathon shop would be great:

  • 1962 Lincoln Continental
  • 2010 Rossion Q1
  • 2009 Lotus 2-Eleven

Cheers

very standard, very acceptable update. clearly this was an opportunity to dump a bunch of mixed and recycled “European” cars on us, and it’s not amazing but the old Benzes are a huge welcome surprise.

the absence of certain cars also points to more good updates coming soon

The Project 8 isn’t a concept car. It was an actual production car. Heck, there are more Project 8s in the world than Battistas right now.

really underwhelming events this series, good thing there’s only 20 point cars, Trial + Stunts, exclusives and done

Speaking of the reward cars, they’re not that bad, but the only thing I hate the most is the VW ID.4.

It would’ve been better if Touareg R50 is added instead. All because of my TDU2 childhood memories with it. (the one in TDU is the standard V10 TDI)

powerful 98 votes :muscle:

…or weak 98 votes, cause it took almost a year :upside_down_face:

It’s good to see PG is still willing to do anything with Rally Adventure. So maybe other suggestions have any chance too? They’re far from 98 votes though…

Seriously..what a disappointment..well, have to buy the pack for battista…maybe will use that jag for a lil racing n the wagon is trash..just useless..btw let me know what can be done with the bentley!!

I wish T10 released a picture of the Hammer Wagon. Normally they show every car but now they don’t?

I hope they’ll update the article at forza.net today, they sometimes add pictures over time there.

I’m not the only one who expected the AMR Pro to be part of the car pack, right? Never been more happy to be wrong about something. Wow.

3/4 of the pack are cool but the Pininfarina Battista doesn’t feel right in it.
It’s just an “italianized” Rimac we already have in Motorsport. It’s shockingly bad in Motorsport and given the non-existent performance of the Nevera in Horizon I expect a train wreck.

The Project 8 and Continental are fine additions but from an in-game performance I don’t expect much. Too heavy & too modern to be good.

The AMG is the highlight for me given its uniqueness and pure style. Also the most promising car to be good.

Out of the Playlist additions the Esprit & DoKa will probably be the best cars. Especially latter has all ingredients to be strong in CC/Dirt: Light, crappy old chassis, terrible brakes and gearbox, most likely the VTEC swap.

only rally expansion? why not add X class to main map? or D and C to midnight battles. strange.

Only cars I’m really interested in are the Lancia Fulvia and Lotus Esprit. Putting the Fulvia at 40pts is a really low move by the devs though.

The AMG hammer wagon looks cool, but otherwise that car pack isn’t interesting at all, unless it goes on sale I won’t bother with it.

Also been hoping for a long time that we would get a Porsche 986 Boxster, it’s been shown in videos and this would have been the perfect time to add it. Much more useful car than the Vulcan AMR Pro likely will be.

Actually, they didn’t. All the cars are tied to either 20pts or a seasonal championship. In the case of the Fulvia, it’s the latter. Also a pleasant surprise that they didn’t lock any of them behind the series reward points.
