The only good thing about this series was that they added the SL63 and 500E, I was expecting other cars like the MC20, Urus Performante and Purosangue but nah…

I feel that the series could have been infinitely superior to what it was in reality, they added the aston martin valkyrie AMR pro which in my view is a car that does not match the theme of forza horizon and that could have easily been replaced by the Maserati MC20, apart from that the eventlab props were extremely random, As much as depending on the creation you are going to do in EventLab, it is really useful, I feel that it was something totally dropped and thrown there, another interesting point to be quote, it’s the car pack, as much as they have decreased the price of the car packs here in Brazil, I feel that it’s still not worth my money, because they only added cars that could easily be on the playlist, like the Pininfaria Battista and the AMG Wagon for example, in general, the series managed to disappoint because the theme it had in hand was great to be worked on, Unlike the current series which is simply incredible, with me this series has a sincere and honest 5/10

Why do I feel like answering these polls just helps reinforce the status quo of PGG ignoring the real issues?
I’d honestly be good with a couple months of nothing new if it meant we got something of substance that actually solved a real issue, like custom championships providing actual single player and convoy only endgame.
Where’s the poll item that expresses that desire?

That’s the Suggestions Hub. These series recap polls are for the teams working on various components of the regular monthly content and reaction to other added features once they’ve been implemented. Both these polls and the Suggestions Hub votes are used to guide future content decisions

You mean the suggestions hub where you recently moved one of my suggestions to the general discussions forum, wiping out all of my votes? That one?

My overall thoughts on this Series are… mixed, leaning positive. I liked the New-to-Forza cars, for the most part, with the exception of the ID.4 because there just wasn’t to its addition other than “tune another EV SUV for cross-country”; something like that might have been better off in an upgrade-focused Series, like Upgrade Heroes or Horizon Customs previously. The Exclusive Event seasonal championships were a fantastic way to bring back returning cars without making each week require 40 playlist points to get all the rewards; if you ask me, someone with 654 hours in this game, that should be the way forward for all returning car additions.
But the car restrictions weren’t varied enough to mesh with the overall theme of “European Automotive.” By that, I mean there weren’t very many opportunities to explore the diverse nature of European cars; too many one-make races in one specific class, not enough class-specific events, especially in the Seasonal Championships themselves. I play FH5 mostly using stock cars, so this affected me more than it probably should have. But I feel as though approaching this Series as a continent-wide celebration rather than honing in on one or two countries a week did not do the car diversity any favors.
If I had to tweak the Exclusive Events, though, I would set the Drivatars to a higher difficulty than Highly Skilled, and restrict the user to a stock version of the car that’s set to be awarded if the user wins the Championship. This way, the user is forced to learn the ins and outs of the car in order to win. Either that, or expand the car restriction to the region and class of the car the user is racing for to improve car diversity; the DS 23 Exclusive Event should be the framework for these, I feel.
When will the autumn preview be updated?
I liked that they put recycled cars to win in the championships, just like in Horizon 4. They could do it more often, new cars to win when you get 20 points and recycled cars to win in the championships, because the cars we win in the championships are for sale at dealership and there’s no desire to do the championships unless it’s to get 20 points, if they put in recycled cars from other Forzas it would make me want to win the championships more. So, if they did that, the new cars at 20 points, favorite cars recycled from other Forzas in the championships and the car packs I believe would be cool for everyone.

Unfortunately, I’m guessing he won’t respond to this. Feels like Forza cares more about protecting their image than actually fixing things, which I think is a large part of why we are where we are.

Did have a look at your post, it doesn’t read like a suggestion that fits the category, more like a discussion post. Saying “stop doing x” is also not a constructive suggestion, it’s just a statement thrown into the wind.

I’m sorry, you’re going to have to elaborate on how you think that asking for resources that are being spent on thinly veiled commercials could instead be spent on actually solving issues with the game is not a constructive suggestion.
Am I just supposed to sit here and smile while we get advertised at and core game modes and features go underfeatured, unsupported, and ignored?
I explained my logic, had examples, and proposed a reasonable plan of action. How is that a “statement thrown into the wind”?

Just to look at the title European automotive had so much potential but no they needed to add some old VW and electric one because this is what we need in racing game.

Very loaded statement there, but your original post reads like a complaint about a thing without a reasonable plan of action. Also, it did not fit the category as outlined by the post that said READ FIRST on it.
Racing was expanded recently, EventLab got a huge update recently, e got vinyl material adjustments for the livery editor, etc.
Your logic: “Game bad because they do a few relatively quick tie-ins that keep the money rolling in for updates”
Examples: don’t see any outside of the ones you provided for a different point.
Reasonable plan of action: Stop all updates because of a lack of money because a few people didn’t like that we cooperated with some brands

The READ FIRST section was changed recently. They moved the goalposts so my post no longer qualified. They keep doing this, painting us further into a corner so that legitimate concerns are now against posting rules.
Racing was barely expanded, and it happened after the topic was originally made. 4 races is better than nothing, but the game still has less races in it than some previous entries. Eventlab updates are pointless when finding and curating events is still a nightmare, never mind the fact that they are just one and done events rarely worth persuing without the ability to string them into some form of endgame. The amount of time driving and actually enjoying them pales in comparison to the amount of time needed to sift through and find them. At the end of the day it’s just not worth it to engage with EventLab, in spite of it’s potential. Vinyl material adjustments is an improvement, but is still mostly useless thanks to the fact that you can only adjust all vinyls.
Thanks for providing some great examples of underfeatured aspects of the game though.
And yes, I would prefer that all updates of any kind stop if it means we can get some updates that the franchise desperately needs. This path that the franchise has been on for the past two iterations, where single player and convoy only options have been steadily stripped away or made barren by comparison in order to try and force this always online games as a service nightmare needs to stop. I don’t care if it gets us more cars, because what’s the point of more cars when there is no endgame with which to engage those cars with? I don’t care if brand partnerships get us more updates when all of those updates are thinly veiled advertisements or lip service to the issues the game faces.
I’m tired of sitting by and watching FH fail upwards due to Games Pass tourism and a lack of competition. They have made some good updates, and I’ll never deny PGG’s work ethic, but it’s always 1 step forward, 8 steps back when it comes to anything involving core gameplay since the launch of FH4.

I thought the series was very good, but there are times when the game crashes every time you enter a race, it doesn’t load the collection of cars to select from, I play on the XBOX SERIES S, I have a save with 750 cars and more than 400 liveries, When I delete a vehicle, the game stops closing, but please, solve this crash on the XBOX SERIES S, it’s sad that several cool cars arrive, but the game keeps closing by itself because it can’t load the garage

Series 31 was an enjoyable experience thanks to:
- easy to obtain recycled cars (via championships instead of grinding 40 points on the Playlist), and mostly desirable as well;
- two brilliant additions to Mercedes line-up on the Playlist, especially the 500 E (other two new cars are somewhat interesting too but I find them useless - VW ID.7 is not only electric but also slow, while Valkyrie AMR Pro fits Forza Motorsport better IMO);
- another two brilliant cars in the DLC pack (Jaguar XE and AMG Hammer Wagon; I would count Bentley as brilliant too if it was a coupe version );
- multiple EventLab events every week (something the current series is missing).
However, as much as I appreciate adding cool #NewToForza cars each month, I must say I’m growing tired with driving them in Mexico. This map is not big and varied enough to be used so intensively for the third year.
In theory EventLab creations should solve that problem but I can’t fully enjoy them without proper elevation changes. Most tracks are either flat or have some sharply angled ramps (something that game’s physics engine deals poorly with), or use roads on the main map where I know every corner now and it’s extremely hard to disguise it. I wish EventLab creators were given some proper terraforming tools to use at least on the EventLab Island (ability to remove from the main map trees, street lamps, and some other objects could help too)

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Probably the only point I disagreed with was the one about the AMR Pro.

Had there not been another Car Pack that month, it would’ve been a much better update. FH5 Premium costs $100, we already had 7 Packs that are not included in that $100 edition, and the total cost of those 7 pack was $45.
That aside, I was hoping you had also finally learned a lesson: actual new cars belong in the Festival Playlist Point rewards, while recycled content should be put on the side and obtainable through Playlist Events, if not the Autoshow. With the amount of cars that are ready to be recycled into Horizon 5 with next to no changes, I think everyone would welcome 4+ more cars brought to the game each month. On top of this, recycled cars that are still not in the Autoshow should be always obtainable in Playlist Events, just like Horizon 4 does it. Who cares that it will ““ruin”” the already flawed Auction House economy, at least people will be able to obtain the cars that were in the Autoshow of the very previous game. Come on Playground Games, you’re more than capable of doing this.
