Totaly agree. I worked this tune in FH4 recently and took it to the lotus trial last week thinking I was going to end up 2nd or 3rd with it again. Turns out it is really good if you tune it right. It has super straight line speed for the goliath and if you take the damping and arbs down it can turn like a champ.

this thread made me even less excited for the Valkyrie pro. FH doesn’t even have X rivals, or native X racing, only custom stuff. looking at the stats it should start in the 990’s - would be the dumbest thing they ever did starting/locking a car in X, it defeats the entire purpose of the game and Pi system

OK wild guess here - they’re adding X999 rivals. that’s the “new events” in the teaser, and we already know they’re adding D and C rally adventure, so perhaps they’re related in terms of timing/programming. that’s the only thing that justifies this car being X999, even if X rivals is a mediocre idea

I feel like the AMR Pro version is way ahead of the other cars in FH5 that start out at S2 998. Let’s hope for X class rivals.

at the moment it seems about as useful as the barbie Corvette

Atleast it’s way way better than ‘d’ class rivals !!

barbie corvette makes for a sweet s1 drift car

I, for one, wouldn’t mind having a car that starts in X class, if its real life performance would put it in X class. And thats regardless of what it is and isnt eligible for in the game. I’d rather have it than not have it. I’ll glady find something to do with cars that good.

@geistwriter pointed out to me that the regular Valkyrie also starts out in X class in FM and starts out at 978 PI in FH5, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the AMR Pro starts out at 998.

I like the idea of X999 rivals more and more, so I wouldn’t care if they did introduce it at 999, but I’ve been running the Valkyrie AMR numbers across similar cars, and the following have the same or better (or close) power/weight with race slicks, at 998pi or lower:

diablo gtr, Porsche strassenversion, Rossion Q1, AMG CLK, Xbow 4, Ultima Coupe, Mosler, both Supervan, F50 gt, F40 comp, Ford GT 05, and a dozen more older cars.

this could just be a new meta car at 998 or an entirely new thing of its own, we’ll see

Well said brother!!

For those in the UK I think the start time for the stream is 5:00 pm. The UK is now on GMT and there is an 8 hour difference between PT and GMT.

If they squeeze it into 998 (which I assume) they will have to drastically reduce its grip compared to Motorsport.
And it will come on either race tires or normal slicks.
Thus, it won’t be able to compete with the slicks+ meta (Brabham, CCGT) and due to its massive aero won’t be able to compete with the race tires meta (Mosler, F1 GT).

I suspect it’s going to be like the Czinger.

I was wondering if it had some super-tires that I couldn’t account for, because the power itself isnt anything new. the standard Forza stock racing slicks can keep this power/weight in S2, so I bet you’re right.

I couldn’t approach the same ratio with brabham, but it seems like the stock tires are the type of super-tires I was talking about. lateral g’s are huge, there’s only a semi-slick downgrade.

there are some great stock tires in the game, the donut van is a recent example, Mosler gt3, and the toyos on the hoonigan cars, a lot of the lotus

Yeah, the Brabham has the best tires of all cars (+0.26 grip value on race tires). CCGT is at+0.23.
Normal slicks are only+0.06.
If the AMR Pro has no slicks+/super slicks it won’t be able to do anything in the handling meta. It would need such massive aero to compensate for it its speed would be busted. That’s what happened with the Czinger.

Maybe it’ll be X class and gets an engine swap to make S998.

Why isn’t this called forza monthly this time?! Maybe FM and FH5 will have separate videos or livestreams from now on?..

Lamborghini is impossible but i hope i get a surprise!
