Hey,
I’ve tried almost everything, even resetting Windows, but i cannot get the Game to install. I keep getting Error Code 0x87E107D7.
I’ve tried contacting Microsoft Support about this, but they didn’t really help either besides telling me it’s something about File Size and redirecting me to various Places where one couldn’t help me… ;(
No idea what else to try.

i am having the same problem i cant seem to get help anywhere. i guess i lost 100$
i found a fix for this, if you go and reset your pc it seems to fix the issue.
By reset you mean just going into Settings and Reset from there? I tried reinstalling Windows from USB Stick, that didn’t help.

$100 pre order and I can’t even start the download, i’ve tried every common MS Store troubleshooting solution out there… nothing.
Guess I’ll try safe boot / windows reset next…
OK fixed my MS STORE install issue…
Tried every last troubleshooting trick…
Ended up having to “Shift+click” on Restart to enter the recovery menu, and “RESET WINDOWS PC” to basically do a reinstall of Win10…
Yes, the game was about to launch, I was desperate. Now i’m reinstalling all my programs and drivers… at least the MS STORE is now downloading the game!!!
You know what fixed it for me? Just waiting for the game to come out. At exactly 00:00 i could download ^^ i guess it was just something wrong with the preload

Try this:
Click on your Start menu and type wsreset
run it
Restart your computer in order to apply these changes and open Store to see if your downloads are working again.

I uninstalled everything that had to do with FH4 then started a fresh install from Microsoft store. It seems to be working, no error messages yet.
Installed, good to go!
The Store says it 's installed and i can play it but when i click on it i get a picture of FH4 lol. Still getting the error codes. Is there a physical DVD we can swap instead of the download?
Where’s my problem. I had the Xbox Game Pass on my pc so FH4 is free with that. I was playing with no problem. My pc got some type of error that I had to take it to the repair shop. The only thing I could of done to fix my pc was doing a factory reset so I did. When I got the pc back I sign in with my microsoft account and everything. So I went to Microsoft store to get the game back because it wasn’t showing on my oder history or my library so when I went to download the game the install option wasn’t working a icon with a circle with a line in between came up ever time I jover over the install buttom so I try clicking on " manage" and nothing. I contacted Microsoft and spoke with an agent so we try a lot of stuff trying to figure out what was the problem we try troubleshooting on the common promt and nothing we was there for more then an hour. In the end he told me it was something to do with the servers maintenance. So I left it like that. The next day I decided to go buy the game on Amazon. So I bought the FH4 digital code to download it on the pc. So in oder to download the game I had to click on redeem from Xbox.com so I did I put in the key and when I went to download the game it said FH4 is not available on this device. I don’t know why when I’m using my pc. So I had to asked for a refund on Amazon. And on the Xbox store where I try to install the game it just say you already own the game but I couldn’t download it. When I clicked on install on device it wasn’t reading my pc it said something like " it looks like you don’t have any applicable devices linked to your microsoft account" and that’s the only game I’m having problem with because I try downloading other games with the Xbox Game Pass and they work but not FH4. Any one know any where else I could get it for my pc. I try steam but they don’t have that game. And they don’t sell a Forza Horizon 4 Disc either for Pc only on Xbox One and I don’t own a Xbox One no more.

I too had this problem yesterday. I tried all the fixes people have posted and still it didn’t work.
I decided to try and find a different way myself. I went to settings, apps, scrolled down to Microsoft store hoping to uninstall it and reinstall it. However ‘uninstall’ is greyed out. But there’s ‘Advanced options’ and in there is an option to ‘Terminate’ which I clicked… nothing seemed to happen. I then clicked ‘Reset’. I assumed this would just be the same as the wsreset command (which didn’t work for me) but it did work and now Forza horizon 4 is downloading successfully.
After clicking on ‘terminate’ and then ‘reset’ the store closed and the icon disappeared from the taskbar. After finding it again in the start menu and starting it I had to log in to the Store again. The wsreset command didn’t do anything like that so it appears that the ‘terminate’ and ‘reset’ options in the advanced settings does something different to what the wsreset command does (at least for me anyway).

The problem I now have is that it’s reached the download size and judging by the progress bar there’s at least another 15GB to go.
Actually… it just finished installing.
I bought FH4 recently, I’ve tried nearly every fix mentioned but my download is still at 148.5 GB.
I tried a simple restart, I terminated Microsoft store and reset it, as well as the wsreset.
nothing has worked
the terminate and reset didn’t log me out at all or do anything

I just signed off from my main account, then i signed in to my second account and then signed to my main again and it started to install. This works for me.
