User suggestion:
“The current depiction of raindrops in the cockpit view while driving in the rain could be improved through a more realistic interaction with the windshield wipers. Specifically, the movement of raindrops on the windshield should correspond directly with the wiper movement. As the wiper sweeps across the windshield, the droplets should be realistically displaced, also reflecting accurate physical properties like smudging and droplet formation. Such an improvement would not only enhance the visual quality of the game but also augment the immersion and sense of realism while driving under adverse weather conditions. By adding this feature, Forza Motorsport would further push the standards for weather animations in racing simulations, providing players with an even more authentic racing experience.”
Excellent suggestions! They’ve used the same model from FM 7 it appears with minor touchups.
Also, I don’t like how the wipers cause ghosting or leave a trail behind as if momentarily buffing out the textures on the track ahead. Really weird. I think you know what I mean.

The water beads on our cars glass and paint should move as our cars speeds increases, should be rolling to rear of vehicle as we hit 50/60mph, and less so below those speeds. Since we are usually racing no need to have them roll off to the front when sitting still I don’t think.
In a older Forza they advertised the moving drops as a top feature.

Developers should completely redesign the water shader in the rain. Just watch the real video from the cockpit in the rain and use it as a reference. In other games, enthusiasts make cool water shaders themselves, I don’t understand why the developers have left the old rain effects on the new generation for 6 years. If you can’t do it yourself, pay some modder who did the same rain for example in 1 AС, and he will do it for you. Now it’s just some kind of shame.

Assetto Corsa with RainFX still does it best till this day imo, maybe they should give a look or talk with some guys over there.

Also the wiper blade movement is way too linear. They should have subtle “jumps” at the peak of their strides. Looks way too robotic at the moment.

Drive club does this very well
Jump to minute 3:30. Forza is way behind as 2023 game. Drive clube is 9 years old.
