Question. for all that Play eliminator?. why do play eliminator and what consider the best of it?.
In my case i use to get money, skills and level up.
I think that eliminator needs a good fix, in new cars, in speed up the getting of cars in the drops, or that i see others camping near the drops. i dont always race others, i have wonn few times. come first and so.
i think is more fun like evading, or that make them chanse me. and perform Skills and try to be in arround 10 to 5 possiton, in that i can have like 2 or 3 level ups and spiins in 1 race of Eliminator, and if play for like 50 min, and got that result, the reward is plus a super spin.
I consider the eliminator a test of a memory really, of how the whole map works, what not to crash into, or where you have to race to. If I’ve not played it for a while I’m rubbish at it. If I’ve played it a lot at least get in the final race about half the time. If I haven’t I crash into thing in the races.
What I like about the eliminator though is the excitement of going head to head with other people.
But yeah it could do with some updates. More or different cars would be really good, more random routes.
I play it a lot and I’m about 210 wins from 2200 games played. I prefer it to multiplayer racing as multiplayer racing is a bit of a demolition derby with lots of ramming. Plus you don’t need the lightning reflexes to win as there’s more strategy and a bit of map knowledge however not as much map knowledge as there was in Horizon 4.
Yup, Eliminator could do with an update. They need to refresh some of the finish points and some of the head to head finish points. The finish point for head to heads near the top of the mountain is a prime example of one that needs to be more random. That said it’s one for experience players to suck someone in and beat them.
A refresh of the car list would be useful. Some of the cars like the level 8 Camaro and Level 9 Jeep Track Hawk are awful cars and I often skip taking them. Then the level 2 Audi RS6 beats many higher level cars. The level 4 Mini is so slow and the level 2 Escort is probably worse than the level 1 VW.
Oh yes, and the extended night time is a pain in the butt. Crashing into things you can’t see in time is frustrating.
@PandemicBow2072 You mentioned car balancing, I actually made a rebalanced car roster a while back that I think would help make things a bit better. Let me know what you think.
I haven’t played it in a long time. But the best thing about it is probably the learning curve. Once thats gone i found it increasingly less and less entertaining.
And a lot of the times it feels like its not lengthier enough. So there can be lots of just driving around. Like you have to look for trouble on purpose sometimes or drop on hot spots. And It usually pulls like what 50-60 players on average? And thats probably due to not enough players playing it. I might have remembered wrong but i think back on launch since there was lot more players at the beginning the lobbies were fuller like, not full 100 but close.
Mi point is. Each has each way or taste to play it. but i think that most dont exploit the pontetial of it. it will also depend on the time that each has. in my case i can only near 2 hs per day and with luck 4 hs weekends. so i play more eliminator.
and i find it more nice to play just to play do Skills. and like in 1 hour of play level up 4 times, get 4 spinwheels per day
i mostly use the Porche and the Desert. the Volvo. Ariel and Penhall. due i play evade. so i can be chased all map as a rally when i have the ferrary same or the lambo. i think that need new cars on it
Playground probably dropped it because practically nobody plays the Eliminator and it wouldn’t have been worth time. Seriously, the few users in this thread who adore the Eliminator are quite literally the only people in the Forza fandom who even talk about the game mode online. Reddit never talks about it. YouTube never talks about it. X never talks about it. Unless the Eliminator parties happen on Discord, this is a game mode that has a very niche audience.
Eliminator queues always pop after 1 min for me no matter when I queue and always have 35+ players. So I wouldn’t say no body plays it as clearly alot of us are.
Eliminator is proof positive that I can manage to moth into any tree/building that’s even remotely in my direction of travel, even if I didn’t think I was pointed anywhere near it.
Really? I frequent both subs and see posts about Eliminator pretty frequently. Can’t say anything about Twitter X because I don’t have an account there and don’t want one.
Before updating any of the vehicles, they should solve the thousand problems (disconnection, synchronization, cheaters, crashes and etc) of the eliminator…Oh wait, now they are going to solve it hihihi.
