El Camino - I'm pretty sure the 3-star times in the two beach statue chapters got mixed up somehow

The 3-star time for the Statue at Sunset chapter is 2:10:00. Even cutting across the desert, this feels tricky to pull off with the car given (to me) and it’s literally impossible if you follow the road.

Conversely, the 3-star time for the first half of the Statue at Noon chapter is…5:00:00. Five whole minutes. Even following the road it shouldn’t take you more than 60 seconds, it’s closer to 30-35 if you cut across the desert. The second half of this version of the quest is also pretty generous, even following the road, but it still requires that you don’t goof off.

Something tells me that the target times for these first two segments got accidentally swapped somehow? It definitely feels that way.

It’s not. All of the split chapters (where you have a choice between two) in all stories have one really easy and one really hard in them.

It is however very possible to hit the time in Statue at Sunset, especially as there’s no accolade for statue photo and you can hit photo mode the moment you cross the circle.

Here’s a full guide with detailed route that takes you there in time: FH5 El Camino: The Statue At Sunset (3 stars guide) - YouTube

You have a choice? I just thought you had to do all of them. Then again I never listened to the dialogue, I turned the master volume off, to keep some semblance of my sanity.

The difficulty in the stories is all over the place and it will frustrate almost everyone at some places, especially more casual players, and for a casual focused game that’s stupid.

Luckily I created video guides for all of them so that even most casual players are able to 3-star every chapter

Most stories (possibly all) have one mission which is an (a) or a (b) and you only need to do one to progress. However, you need to do both to finish the story and mark it as complete, so it’s a bit pointless really.

For chapters where you have choice, only one of those is required to get an accolade “Complete all chapters” and get a prize car. You still need to do all chapters to get all related accolades but if you’re purely after a prize car, you can do only easy ones.

Agree FN. The chapters could get harder as you progress through the story or they could have some stories that are more difficult than others, deliberately. Instead, it’s a collection of mostly very easy events with a few extremely difficult ones in there randomly. It’s the usual lack of attention to detail really.

I agree that difficulty is all over the place and even with choices, you don’t know which one is easier or harder, until you try it. Tbh none of choices felt much different, except this one.

Also from all the chapters, this one was only one that gave me problems: keeping it on the road … nope, cross-country shortcut … nope.
Mix of both and taking a pic 0,4 sec before timer runs out for 3 star and just hitting that circle … yup. Bleh

Wait till you do Vocho story with choice between Vocho in the Baja and Vocho in the Hills

Not being funny with you buddy but you should take a bit more notice on here, the likes of El Barto, Jezza and FN already know the ins and outs of the game.

Already did, same thing with chasing that last second, to hit P

I feel not all chapters were done by same people/team, same thing with picking routes for races and not once compare notes.
