all these screen shots and game play trailers of horizon 2 all look stunning , i just hope we are seeing the version we,re all going to receive , after all those rumours about forza 5 being run on DX12 MY MISTAKE , format at e3 last year , big let down if this is the case with horizon 2

Replace direct x in your post with pc. All Xbox games are running on direct x on the console - that is where the console gets its name from.

Thanks for this - never knew that but it does explain a lot. Do we know if the xbone is going to be ready for DX12?

Planning on fall 2015 release. This should answer most of your questions, including the one you haven’t asked yet… will DX12 be the silver bullet?

Haha, I remember that. It’s cute how people don’t know how development kits work. I bet there’s a whole generation of people who think developers make games by plugging a keyboard into an Xbox One lol

I have always said never judge a game from a trailer or pre release screenshot.
