Driving Assists setting specific to each car like reality

Include the possibility of configuring each car with its original assists (for example a GT3 category car, ABS and traction control that act as in reality)
Like this assists option:

  1. All on 2. Realistic (specific to each car individually) 3. Customizable 4. All offline

So with the release of Forza Motorsport on PC Iā€™ve come back to the game and it appears to be missing things Iā€™d consider essential for the PC SIM community.

Realistic ABS/Traction control options.

From what I can see in the hours Iā€™ve spent on the SIM the only option for these is on or off in the global settings.

This is then applied to cars regardless of them actually having them or not with zero adjustment for ABS or TC on cars that have these.

Well I get the game is console and somethingā€™s have to be limited Iā€™m sure I remember old Forzaā€™s 4/5 I think at the very least having a realistic option on these settings meaning if a car had it then it would be on if it didnā€™t it would be off.

A feature that I only knew about in the game Project Cars 2 was that there was the option to turn the assists on, off or realistic.

In the realistic mode, if the car didnā€™t have ABS brakes, for example, I would play without it, like in the real car.

I think it makes the game more real and I think there could be that possibility in the new Forza Motorsport.

Yes. It needs like a factory setting. So assists are on par with the real life assists on that car!

Having these options in a car specific menu could help:

I donā€™t believe any Forza has ever had a ā€œrealisticā€ option when it comes to availability and use of ABS or TCS. Iā€™d wager youā€™re likely thinking of something like Project CARS.

For the record, Iā€™d love to see this as an option. Many of us would welcome the added realism and extra immersion of ā€œwhatever the real car uses, thatā€™s what you get as wellā€. I think itā€™s a step in the right direction that T10 have finally moved these settings out of the ā€œdifficultyā€ category and youā€™re not rewarded post-race for not using them. For many cars, such as GT3 for example, theyā€™ve actually been designed with ABS/TCS in mind and you wouldnā€™t see drivers in real life turning them completely off.

I guess itā€™s good that there is now the option of ā€œSportā€ for both traction and stability control, as sort of a middle ground between on and off, but a ā€œRealisticā€ setting that changes per what the real car uses would ultimately be ideal.

Forza Motorsport needs this feature. Itā€™s weird racing a GT3 and not being able to change the traction control in different areas of the track. Iā€™ve gotten so use to this in RaceRoom and AC, that I took it for granted until I played Forza Motorsport. Iā€™d love to have this, along with DRS and P2P if the real car has it.

Do you know what you may be right!
I did jump to Project CARS from Forza so it sounds 100% likely Iā€™m mixed up there.

Regardless, it would be a great feature and surely not the most difficult to implement. (big assumption there knowing nothing about game design lol )
