Now I know I’m opening up a can of worms here but anyway I play forza for fun,it’s a game,I’m not breaking any rules,I consider myself a polite drifter. However it seems there is a debate as to whether or not running drags in a drift lobby somehow affects everybody’s handling,I only ask this as I ran in a private lobby earlier where this was seen as the devil’s work!!! I think some "players"should remember this is a video GAME,fun being the end goal, apologies for going on,I hope TURN10 can offer some clarity on this, thanks
As I’ve told you before it alters the physics of the game. This has been a glitch since forza 6 came out. Similar to how in the test drive when tuning your car, the car feels more slippery than in a private lobby.
Good joke. Stop making excuses
I remember griping about the feel of someone using race tires while I used drag tires in FM4. I did so because I was inexperienced, and would go on a tilt if it “caused” me to lose. You would gain or lose traction in different ways, but it did not make drifting impossible, it just required attentiveness and adaptability. The people complaining are ones who want to run on autopilot all the time, and any change in handling completely destroys their ability to drive. This is why I turned off race/braking line, as it makes you stay on your toes. I have run stocks, streets, sports, drags, and even race tires in fm6 against people using any tire type and never felt anything near as drastic as the fm4 race tire vs drag tire problem, and even that maybe never existed beyond being a handy excuse for my own lack of skill and attentiveness.
The only part of the game that really inhibits your ability to drive well is the framerate drop when your console auto-records a drift. I hate that.
