This is my view/Feedback on Forza Motorsport, and if T10/FM cares about what the community has to say. While it may have related bugs in it, but is NOT a bug report in any way.
Message to the Mods and Community Mangers here: I find it funny that posts are deleted/moved instead of being locked, either T10/FM Team wants feedback or not, at this time it is giving the impression they do not want feedback and do not care what the community has to say, now if a message is breaking a rule delete that message and not the whole post.
Bug reports: Why are the major ones not being fixed? There is a voting system which I presume is to priorities fixes, but how can a pit exit off-track bug on a new track go above performance, crashes, and the servers going offline?
It is clear there are major bugs, looking at the reported bugs, that don’t appear to be priorities over minor fixes, such as the above. You also have to remember this is not the first FM game; this is the 8th game, and this one has been out for over 1 year and 7 months.
There is also a bug that you can exploit that has not been addressed in the tuning to give you better handling. I am not going to say any more on that, other than it has been posted.
Patches: Why do these patches fix stuff and then break other things? The T10/FM Team has been using the same game engine ForzaTech, for the last 3 games since 2015; they should know what they are doing by now, and this should not happen. But it appears they do not, or they are just incompetent.
Penalty system: This is a complete disaster and has been stated by multiple people
Instead of fixing a broken game, they want to sell DLC that should be free or just not released. Now, if the game only had minor bugs, then yeah, sure.
I know what someone will reply, saying, there are only minor bugs. If you think that, I suggest you look in the bug report area and not just in the known bugs, which have been acknowledged.
In my opinion, T10/FM Team does not care about what the community has to say, for the reasons I have stated above.
I have been playing FM for 18 years since FM3, and it all started to go wrong when FM5 came out with features missing from what was in previous FM games.
For those who think T10/FM Team does care, explain how?
For those that say it is the best Forza Motorsport, how long have you been playing Forza Motorsport, and what makes this the best Forza Motorsport?
All that T10/FM Team had to do was say, yes, we understand there are bugs and we will have it all fixed by X date. It not the first time a game company has done this and will not be the last.
I am sure one specific mod is going to lock/delete/bury this right away.
Personally, they probably have nowhere near enough people to properly work on this game.
Losing staff probably demoralizes them and they have stopped caring.
Played since Forza 1. Got banned for ten years after my harsh criticism’s of Forza 5.
Coding is really complex. It’s so easy to break something else when you add in new code.
There was a legal post the other day and I explained why they probably can’t talk about anything. Sure would be nice if they would interact with those of us who truly care for the future of this game.

I agree with you on nearly everything, but want to add on to what you posted and ask a question.
The coding, while it is complex, they should know what they are doing, which in turn removes the complex of coding. Plus, doing QA Testing would find the bugs. Also, they have used the same engine since 2015 for FM and FH. There is zero excuse for the bugs in the game, unless they don’t care.
As for the legal reason, I have a question in return to that.
Why is it that some other game makers come out and say they messed up?
All that T10/FM/Xbox Games, etc, are hiding behind a so-called legal reason, that other game makers don’t because they care about the community and what they are making.
The only legal reason I can think of is an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) that the staff may be under.
You could respond to all of these issues with a simple answer: lack of budget and crew. But there’s no way to tell, so it’s really just a glorified venting session.
I mean, the reality is going to be one of a handful of things:
lack of manpower
suboptimal management
“wE jUsT dOn’T care,” which is what I expect most of these posts want to hear
I bet it’s a smaller crew that isn’t paid enough or given clear enough leadership to coordinate a sufficient response to the large number of dedicated fans of the series and their mountain of respective issues (issues which are valid but are likely too numerous for the existing team to handle at a satisfactory rate, or at all)
A lack of overarching messaging is likely due to a lack of confidence in being able to fulfill a roadmap, which probably comes down to a lack of resources, not a lack of giving a rat’s bottom
So they don’t want feedback, so it just proves my point: they don’t care what the community has to say, and I don’t believe it is extremely redundant or a vent, T10/FM need to be called out, and this post does it.
It has not broken any rules in any way, so there is no reason to lock, delete, or bury it, and doing so clearly proves my point.

Post your comments, opinions, and ideas in a constructive and respectful way. Criticism and negative opinions are allowed as long as they do not cross into prohibited content. Remember that there are differing viewpoints among community members and you may encounter some strong opinions that you do not agree with. The best approach to dealing with opposing opinions is to agree to disagree or skip the discussion without commenting. On the Forza Forums you can Mute others within their profile to help avoid being drawn into an argument.
I promise you are not the only one, and you could probably find 100+ topics exactly like this one (no exaggeration) if you spent an hour reading through this forum’s submission history
Your answers are either 1) lack of resources, 2) lack of quality management, or 3) they hate you and don’t care about your concerns
But it doesn’t help to fix the game now, does it, deleting or moving threads. Now, if they lock it fair enough.
But as this post has not broken any rules as stated above, there is zero reason to lock it either.
Other reasons this post should be left open are for others to have their opinion on the game and have a discussion and not an argument, and only delete messages that break the rules.
I’ve seen this argument before, but I don’t see how rehashing the same well-worn complaints in a dramatic wall of text does anything productive. These aren’t unknowns to anyone here nor the devs.
We already have a suggestions hub where specific issues are tracked and discussed.
At this point, posts like this don’t add anything new—they just crowd the space and make it harder to surface fresh, constructive input.

They care and in things that they post you can tell they care about the game they are helping build. They can’t realistically reply or address everything thats put on here.
It shows on their namecard if you click on it how much time they have spent purely just reading forums. General pretzel has spent 5 total days(120 hours) going through and reading these forums.
Mateo Max has spent 4 months reading forums. Not to mention the other parts of their job to try and make the game better. Just because they dont reply to everything doesnt mean they dont care what the community has to say or their opinions.
Genuinely don’t think it’s a lack of caring, it’s a lack of resources and competence during the games development.
Nobody deliberately tries to do a bad job, especially not in this industry.
As for your other points, you’ve added nothing new, so why not reply to one of the 100’s of similar threads relating to your points. It’s not that I disagree with them.
Why, I presumed they just got deleted, just like I’ve seen other posts like this get deleted, for no reason, instead of merging them with another post.
I never said no individual cares, but as a company as a whole, there are more that don’t care than do care, so it gives the impression they don’t care as a whole. In the past, there was a lot more care about the game and community, than there is now.
They spend all this time on the forum, but I see little to any major bugs being fixed.
While I agree it a lack of resources and management it doesn’t get the bugs fixed and posts like these get posted.
At the end of the day, they are still owned and ran by Microsoft. They probably have roadmaps and deadlines that they have to hit and don’t have time to address a lot of the problems but that doesn’t mean they don’t try to fix things. I’ve been playing since day 1 and I’ve seen a complete difference in the number of bugs and problems that the game has. It really has come a long way and the forums has helped get it there. Honestly most games that I’ve seen don’t have this level of community engagement.
I’ve not seen posts get deleted that are critical of the game tbh. I think considering that T10 own this space so to speak they’ve had more than their fair share of negative feedback on the forum since the games release- most of it has been deserved, some of it has been ludicrous at times.
