Does anyone review the event labs in the playlist?

I just did eventlab Takano 00 Presents which required me to drive in a straight line for 10 seconds using any car then hang a left at the end. Really???

Yeah this one was weird. I thought the whole idea of having these event lab events in the playlist was to show case what’s possible and have some fun events. This one definitely didn’t achieve any of that.

Take a moment to review the event name. Takano 00 Presents “Photo Studio V3.” There are multiple bays along the route designed for taking photos. One could even combine this event with the weekly and daily Forzathon photo challenges.

Yeah fair enough I missed that.

Curious, wouldn’t it make sense to require players to take a photo if the event lab was designed for taking photos?

I thought it was cool as an idea. If I was better at using the ingame editing tools, I’d have enjoyed it.

You don’t need to save photos to get credit. I’m just surprised that an event lab designed to take photos doesn’t require a photo to be taken. I completely overlooked this while doing the weekly chore list and was like what kind of a dumb challenge is this lol. But now I get why it is how it is. Well kinda…

Ditto. I might go back and look at it now that I know more but at the time I just wanted to get it done with.

The other event lab I started it but just couldn’t be bothered it was a bit lame so quit out of it as I already have the VW camper van anyway.

I’m surprised this is an issue in this day and age. At the bare minimum allow people to save uncapped locally for photos, tunes, etc.

No I didn’t need to… I just figured that if I made the game you would have to take a photo in there so I took a photo in there.

Taking a picture is not actually a requirement to complete that challenge just driving to the end is.

I find that with most event lab challenge they are either stupidly easy or absurdly idiotic.

I thought the same early on but in recent weeks I have enjoyed the event labs. I just wish it was possible for someone to create what I saw in a FH3 clip recently where there were these massive hot wheels like tracks in the sky. I never played FH3 but it looked awesome. I’m guessing FH3 had a hot wheels expansion?
