i really don’t…playground games with forced car picks has to be like the most anti fun you can have in this game
I’m certainly not a fan.
People trying to win these … at least show up in a car upgraded to the limit. My team won the first time I tried this week but we had 8 people in the lobby at least 50 PI points under the limit, and 5 were on the other team. No chance.
I don’t… but I don’t like any PvP. Still, there was a time when I’d race PvP, and even then I think I’d have avoided the playground nonsense.
As a casual game mode? Sure.
As something you’re expected to win if you don’t want to be gated out of content? Not one bit.
+1 Modes were okay, but the situation now is bad.
Infected and King can be fun and a good side activity, but unfortunately flag rush is just terrible and is the reason I don’t do PGG adventures. I also agree that PGG should be for fun and not a competitive mode used to hand out exclusive content.
Not me
As a side activity with a bunch of friends? Yes for Infected and King. There is some tactic involved and it can lead to a good amount of fun. Flag Rush on the other hand is just plain terrible.
As part of the Festival Playlist? An absolute nightmare because you are forced to win and best of 5 is just too much. Especially if you have to give it more than one try because of losses. I always join this with at least 2 friends to have a guaranteed win. I could not endure more than one try. It’s just no fun against/with randoms.
I was thinking after we had to play it the other week - does it give a huge advantage to people with 3 screen setups? I wasn’t sure exactly how the rules worked, but it seemed it wasn’t always showing every other player on the radar, so a 3 screen setup seemed like it would give a massive advantage by being able to see other players over a much bigger range of angles around you.
I kinda like it, I just think it shouldn’t include PGG, but also we all risk losing the 100% goals because of the daily challenges. They are ridiculously easy, but not everybody can log onto the game everyday.
I liked all the prize cars from the Festival, and I hope I can get all of them, so I also wish nothing related to a bug with the % count happens and ruin it.
Yesterday I completed the Rivals clean lap and online adventure as they count to complete the %, but then after I joined the game again and the golden retangle with the Rivals had disappeared from all 4 seasons and the % had decreased for both overall Series and Summer Season. So they took out the Rivals from the Festival or it vanished by mistake and now I won’t be able to complete 100% the Festival?
I hate it. And while I did do them in H3, but only enough to clear forzathons, I will never do them now. I am done jumping through their hoops.
Yes, enjoyed it everytime including when my team has lost.
I have to say I actually enjoyed the Isettas, but normally I’ll avoid at all cost. Totally agree with the rest about content being locked behind it - I wonder how happy they are having to encourage/coerce/bully players to take part rather than knowing they’ve offered game modes that people enjoy?
I didnt had any issues with it in FH3. First because less content was tied to it and second Online worked flawless for me. In FH4 it is expected from me to win a mode which I dont have any power over if I win. I can have a part in it, but if my team doesnt play ball Im out of luck. And thats frustrating. When you can do your best you can do, what the game allows but you still cant win. Its just random and luck if it works. And then I have just issues in FH4 Onlinen which are worse in Playground Games. My game lags and speeds up and down which makes precise play hard. Those two things plus winning this event to get the porsche causes anti fun for me. I get sad when I have to play the mode because I feel complete out of control and forced to do it, which sounds silly in context of a videogame.
But really I wish that the event is participation only. Because winning is pure luck.
love playground games is major part of what horizon is about having fun doing something different from every other game if you don’t like them go play motorsport instead. I don’t like drift at all but is part of the game so often have to do the drift stuff .to complain oh shouldn’t have to do playground games for a reward just because is not what you like is sad no one is forcing you .
I only play when I have to, like to complete an objective or collect an exclusive prize or something. I can certainly see the appeal, but it’s not something I go out of my way for.
It’s only fun when teams are balanced. If one team is way ahead than the other, then it’s not for anybody on either team. Also I don’t understand why all 5 matches need to be completed if one team swept the first 3 matches.
It should run until one team has 3 out of the 5 rounds won, there’s no need to play the extra rounds after the winner is determined.
Which wouldn’t even be an issue if people were playing the game because they enjoyed it, rather than for the Playlist.
I do very much like the games. I do not like having to win them for prizes, but I do enjoy participating in them. In fact, they are some of my most favorite things to do in Horizon.
They’re… Somehow enjoyable. Wish we didnae have to win to progress in the Playlist though. Freedom Rush on the other hand… Boils ma ****.
