Does anyone deal with this at least once per gaming session?

Not sure if this is a Forza issue or if it’s an overall issue with the Xbox One, so I’m posting here because Forza is really the only game I play…

My controller has a problem with disconnecting. It happens at least once per gaming session. Seems to happen twice an hour.

I always have a warning before it happens - I play with headphones and the sound begins to cut out more and more over a period of, say, 30 seconds or so, then the controller disconnects. It reconnects immediately but if I’m playing online, the damage is already done. I don’t mind it if I’m playing offline/career mode because the game pauses (still annoying but whatever), but it’s frustrating and embarrassing when it happens to me online. Here I am, fighting for positions and then the whole race goes down the drain because of a technical issue.

Does anyone know what causes this and what, if anything, I can do to fix it? Pulling my hair out over here.

Wireless headphones? Sometimes wireless headphones can cause problems.

Nope, headphones are wired to the controller.

Connect your controller to the console with a USB cable, it will never happen agaiin.
