do exhaust systems change the exhaust note in horizon 3?

quite simple question, will the exhaust systems significantly change the sound of my car in horizon 3?

im just wandering because in previous games it didn’t affect the sound, and if it did it wasn’t noticeable.

I’ve always thought it to be pretty noticeable in previous games, it doesn’t usually change the engine note (not that I noticed), but tends to just make the exhaust louder. My favorite example would have to be the stock 2005 M3 being upgraded to the race exhaust.

i wish it changed the sound as a whole.

Forza 2 was amazing for that. That was my favorite part minus the fact that adding a cam made the car actually lope.

F2 was just amazing, everything felt good in it esp handling.
