I love Forza 6 but always thought it was a bit easy to rattle up a good credit score, now that is not my complaint as I reached 360 million plus and owned every car in the game minus a couple of holiday paints relativity easily. However it was still fun to win more credits as my reward for racing and along with people downloading my vinyl’s, race paints and tunes while also raising my XP level it kept my competitive streak more than happy. But now a warning to all of you with the same competitive streak I have, everything changes when you reach level 1,000, here the win spin max win rises to 10 million and you hit that amount on almost every spin and in no time specially for we the VIP racing fraternity you reach 999,999,999 pretty quickly.
It took less than a week for me to go from 360 million+ to the 999,999,99 amount and I hear you say so what, well that’s it people you win nothing more no matter how much you race or how many people download your vinyl’s, race paints and tunes the credit counter rises no more. OK your level still rises as does your XP but as for winning any more credits from any source in the game that is over, so some advice Forza while it is nice to see better rewards for reaching the higher levels the 10 mil win spin is not the way to go especially as how it gets ridiculously easy to hit that same 10 mil. Raising it to 2 mil and keeping hitting it as random as before would have kept us happy along with not stopping the counter at 999,999,999 because I don’t know about anybody else but having reached this limit a lot of the draw the game had is gone.
It’s a racing game which as a racing game draws competitive people to play it for the enjoyment of racing but also in a large part for the rewards they can win and when there are no longer rewards to be won it diminishes the game drastically. I mean why should I design any more vinyl’s, race paints or tunes when the reward that gave me pleasure for my efforts is gone and why should I be as competitive while racing or even participate as much as I do at the moment when all the rewards for my efforts are just not present any more.
So people of Turn 10 take note we much prefer to ‘’ WIN ‘’ our credits so please do not make them credits worthless by making them too easy to win or limiting how many we can win because it takes a huge part of what we all love about this franchise away, because we want it to be reasonably competitive to win our credits. When you take away anything that makes a racer less competitive such as the incentive of credits you take away much of the fun and enjoyment the game has for many of us, so please don’t make the same error in future editions of this amazing franchise because ''EARNING ‘’ credits is what many live for alongside our rise through the levels.
Been there, done that. Only thing to do now is start collecting spins - I’ve got all the 9’s in credits and 150 spins in the bank which at level 1240 amounts to about 2.5bil. Cr. Lets race to break the bank. LOL.
That is it for you bud, you get all the 9’s and it’s over the counter goes no higher so all you can do is buy mods, more cars and paint and tune every car you own to bring down your credit total but once you own every car and have painted and tuned every single one of them it’s still a bust. You see brother you will just get back to all the 9’s again and then there is nothing but racing for no reward and designing and sharing vinyl’s, tunes and race paints for people to download, use and rate and for you to receive absolutely no reward I love the game but I want my racing to be rewarded and the time I spend on vinyl’s, tunes and race paints to be recognised that’s not to much to ask for surely.
What about seeing how many of every mod card you can rack up? Just start buying mod packs and working to find out what the maximum number of mod cards you can have is. Is there a cap on total mod cards? Is it 9,999? 99,999? etc. Or is there only a cap on the number of one individual card you can have? And is that cap 99, or 999, or higher?
I issue this as a challenge to you to find the answer to and report back on. Unfortunately with the high number of credits you have you will have the answer in a couple hours. Bonus, you won’t have max credits any more and will be able to build them back up
Start collecting the most expensive car in the game and put a unique livery on each one. How many La Ferraris can you have?? Is there such a thing as too many? I don’t think so.
In FM4 I had several cars I had an A tune and an S Tune for. After I racked up wads of credits it just dawned on me to buy another one and eventually I had 3 or 4 each in a different class or tuned for a different circuit. I did this with numerous cars and it was pretty cool the way the Garage worked there as I could group them together and it was easier to keep track that way.
Well you can’t group cars by custom classifications anymore so after a certain point, it becomes a bit difficult to find the car you want in a reasonable time.
This is why I no longer buy multiple cars if they are going to be used in the same class. It takes too long to scroll through the cars by class and it becomes real annoying when it takes forever for the paint jobs to show.
Therefore there is a such thing as having too many of one car.
Gotta love the consequences of removing a brilliant feature and replacing it with two iterations of very cumbersome features.
I did like that feature in FM4 and found several uses for it. I’m only at $25 million now in FM6 but at some point I’ll pick a manufacturer that I never drive and just load up to see what happens.
I just had a thought. Can we game the stats by picking some oddball car (Hummer) along with a random livery and tune and everyone just start loading up on them and make them the most popular items in FM6? Imagine the surprise on some kids face when he finds out his Hummer livery he worked so hard on has 50,0000 downloads.
My good sir, you know you could always waste your credits on mod packs. Since you have 999,999,999 credits you could put energy into those instead of making a post about it. Just sayin’.
Yeah, but it’s better to do something of that nature than to complain about it on the Forza forums am I right? There is already a topic about this btw.
To an extent, yes. However the only options available lack entertainment. You’re better off doing chores around the house.
Previously you could blow $350 million on a 1 of 1 memonkey8me masterpiece in the auction house and the bidding wars were exciting. That was a reasoning to stack credits.
The OP just wants that feeling of earning something special for success. Credits at one time satisfied him but now he realizes credits are a joke. He’s competitive and wants something tangible to get that warm and fuzzy feeling for winning or obtaining success with shared work.
His points are valid and T10 should know what a complete joke the credit system has become. He also makes a valid point that the game does not provide any reward for doing well in races or with shared work.
The game is incredibly casual which doesn’t make sense for a game centered around motorsports.
