Anyone know how to get rid of the annoying “You are winning easily, would you like to change the difficulty blah blah” message?
Bump. I assume that is not a selectable option, but it would be nice if the team added this in a future update.
Another bump. FH 3 had this, and it kinda got annoying after awhile. What happened to “play how you want to play”? I shouldn’t have to change the difficulty if I don’t want to.
Hmm I seem to remember it going away after a couple of answers no previously. I’ve only had show once so far and I said yes. I should think it will go away after a few no’s but sounds like that isn’t the case.
returning to a race I’ve failed at 6 times in the past: “You seem to be winning to easily…” ARGH!!!
Just play on unbeatable and you will get rid of this notification.
On the other hand yes its annoying. Been playing on expert and after every couple wins the message just popped up. Problem is there is a steep increase of difficulty between some levels. For me it was from Highly Skilled to Expert. From Expert to Pro not so much, but its noticeable that its harder to win. On expert i could blow a turn or two and still come out first.
Although its not (always) a solution to increase the difficulty until you reach max. This message should simply disappear after a few times choosing “no”. I was surprised its still there, because in FH3 it was bugging the hell out of me.
It doesn’t make any sense for it to exist. The rewards for lowest and highest difficulty are hardly significant considering 95%+ of my earnings are credits and credit-equivalent car value from wheelspins.
Under HUD settings, the “Online Notification Events” toggle does not disable FT Live prompts. Every time I hear that, I mute my volume until it’s gone, or until the GPS voice (whose toggle in audio settings also does nothing to silence) has said her piece.
Cannot agree more, I can’t even tell what 's the difference, an NO notification after race, just shown how many CR earnings etc.
If I don’t say yes, but switch the difficulty up as suggested after saying no, what’s the difference?
The reason why PG don’t remove it is because they think it’s “unfair” that you always win, which is also the reason why wheelspins are more expensive and give out trash compared to early access days.
You probably haven’t noticed but usually when you answer “no” the game will include in the next couple races a “god tier” Drivatar on the grid as one of the leaders. This guy, who is head and shoulders above the others, is top-tier Unbeatable level, and very hard to beat if you make mistakes and don’t have a good build. His skill is not related to the real person’s skill at all, as I’ve seen Drivatars from players whom I dominate being given this “Unbeatable” treatment.
People have said it’s a bug… No, it isn’t. It’s Playground’s attempt to make you lose so that the difficulty level you picked remains adequate to your skill level.
This is one of the worst things about Forza Horizon. It’s one of the things the casuals who give 10/10 to the game and say this is the best Forza since FM4 (a lie, of course) won’t notice. It’s artificial difficulty and must be removed from the game. But they don’t for some reason. Perhaps they’re really intent on overinflating game time statistics, I have no idea. But it’s an impolite move from them.
I’ll give you an idea… playing slots for the jackpot always takes ages. That jackpot is the inevitable, [im]material endgame. And when you’re tired of trying, or you’ve finally earned that “fateful” wheelspin that gives the unique car you wanted, the next Forza Horizon game will be out, and if they’re lucky, you’ll throw them money for that, too. I suspect that’s why competitive hotlapping (rivals) was cut down–it’s one less reason to keep enjoying the old game when FH5 hits the market.
If they have an option to switch off press Y to revert, + not able to restart the race completely, quit the race = penalties, difficultly is always unbeatable.
May be called hardcore mode. This is fair?
I might give it a try if they increase the CR bonus to 1000% or more.
If nothing else an option needs to be included that states “Do Not Show This Message Again”. As insignificant as it may be, I too get annoyed when this message appears. If I wanted to race against more difficult Drivatars, I’d select that option myself.
I hate the message too. It’s really annoying and assumes the player is too stupid to know what settings they’re using.
