I just checked in FM5, the second and misspelled sign isn’t in the game at all. I wonder if it’s in FM6, I haven’t got it installed at the moment to check.

After the update only had to 50 unlocked, did a restart all 100 unlocked. XSX

Not really when you look at graphics on a technical level.
A muddy low res texture is just what it is, same with outdated car models and so on.
One person might care more or less than the other about such things of course.
I´d say the general visual style is down to preference, but not the technical execution of it.
DF provides a technical analysis of the graphics.
One can agree with that and still prefer Forza for other reasons.

That’s what I meant. Not the technical stuff but personal perception of the presentation. The most interesting to me is the rain comparison, for one reason. Take away baked in on screen rain drops in forza and it’s visibility is really similar to GT7. For those who like to bring Forzas “realistic” physics. What about ovr rain and driving in the wet physics ? Excactly…what physics. There’s almost nothing in that department.

So Forza wins in number of trees… So that trackside details upgrade is just putting unnecessary trees around the track.
And that M3… How long do we have those wrong sized wheels? 10 years, 15 years?
I would personally rather have 100 perfectly rendered and modeled cars than 600 forever wrong models…
Especially when we get them as paid dlc…

I stand corrected.
GT wasn’t always like this.
GT5 and GT6 were considered the low points of the series similar to FM5 and FM6, to some degree.
People forget GT didn’t even have cockpit view until GT5, and not all cars had a cockpit view. This lead to the infamous “Standard” and “Premium” car models. Now, at least, all cars in both GT and Forza are what would be considered premium for the amount of detail included.
At the end of the day, it is all subjective even if GT7 currently has a lot more attention to detail.
This is why, if you can afford it, try and get a PS4, PS4 Pro or PS5, so you can play both GT7, and FM and not have to miss out on either.

Right I’ve got my flack jacket on. When GT7 came out I got it day one. First thing I thought was I don’t really rate it graphics wise. I was disappointed. I’ve put 400 hours into it. I thing Forza looks just as good if not better in places.
All these tiny details that are mentioned need the game paused and inspected. I don’t look at trees and car paint shades when I’m batting for first place at 140 mph. Forza is nowhere near perfect but neither is GT7.
Driving wise Forza blows GT7 away. I can’t drive GT7 anymore. I’ve put 280 hours into Forza. I know it has lots faults but so does GT7.
T10 promised us too much and they bent the truth. At Forzas core the physics are great and it’s very enjoyable to play. I love online but too many dirty players… Instead of not playing no more I’ve done the opposite. I’m now enjoying driving round the dirty players and I’m quite good at avoiding them. This is only my honest opinion as I’ve got both games with hundreds of hours driven.
I’ve had every GT game and every Forza. Always liked Forza more. Every in life has faults. More you look more you find. In no way am I ignoring all the bugs in Forza but if you can look past them there’s a good game in there. I’m having a blast with it.
I am hoping they fix everything over time. I’ve no idea why GT7 always seems to be put on a pedal stall. In car the car models are lower quality than in replays and miles away from what they look like in scapes.

I just finished my evening session on GT7. I have no idea what are you on about with lower car quality during gameplay. Same for cockpit view. Tbh it’s the first time I see anyone bringing it out.
Intresting to observe as we are polar opposites. I was always playing forza. Never played GT before. Now I can’t play FM nit thinking “I’d rather be on GT”.
But I guess it worked out for both of us😂

Yes it’s good we are all different else it would be a boring world. Don’t get me wrong I have enjoyed GT but Forza just suits me better. On consoles we are pretty limited compared to PC racing games.
About the cars I’m just on about when people post a picture from Scapes which is more detailed than chase cam playing the game.
Graphically, it’s long been the high visual standard that other console racing games have been compared to.
Until Turn 10 gets their act together and delivers a product worth the price they are asking for it, people need to stop using the whole “Forza’s got a great core!” line of thought as an handwave for the rest of the game’s problems. It honestly should feel like an insult at this stage. It’s like standing in the middle of the remnants of a house gutted by fire and declaring it livable because the foundation is rock-solid.

I’m honestly happy I have both, in my lifetime I ended up in the glory days of both franchises which funny enough are both games 4th installments. 
Took me a while to get used to GT7 but now at 175hrs in I think I’m getting a handle on things again lol.
I’ll continue watching both grow and I hope they both continue to improve. I don’t want to see either die off as iron sharpens iron, they both can make each other stronger. Turn10 is behind in a few areas right now but I think they can turn it around, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Exactly. Heaven forbid they acknowledge the state of things and reaffirm their commitment to fixing it.
I don’t know who is in charge of PR and marketing, but boy are they bad at their job. Or really good. I can’t decide which.

After Mechberg left there really hasn’t been a public face for T10 and with that the “realtime” link (as minor as it might have been) between community and T10 was lost.

He never said “clear winner”. That’s just more reading into it wanting your validation so you can continue to hate on the game. You also ignore he was still very impressed with Forza and said nothing in this video should take away any enjoyment people might have with either game. DF doesn’t think Forza is trash regardless of you and others so desperately wanting that.
