While it’s not a big deal, obviously, I find it curious.
The SF90 Stradale and GTA Spano have a stock PI of 915. The SF90 a bit newer (2020 vs 2016) and the Spano is slightly more valuable (800k vs 750k).
What’s “hyper” about the SF90 but merely “super” about the Spano?
Similarly, why is the SF90 “legendary” but the Spano “epic”? I’ve seen more talk about the Spano on the forum, at least.
similar stuff with track toys and extreme track toys, presumably gt and hot hatch but not really looked

Bit like how the SVT Cobra R is in Retro Muscle instead of Track Toys while the BMW M3 GTR road car is in Track Toys instead of the same category as the base E46 M3. Very inconsistent
Not to mention the Noble M600 used to be in the Hypercars category prior to FH5 before being moved to Modern Supercars

hypercars are generally lower production, higher cost, higher performance. they’re niche supercars.

it sometimes seems like tires factor into whether something is a track toy or a normal category. I’m still searching for the exact reasoning on a few

I kind-of see that but that pair is why I have the query. The Spano costs a bit more in the game but not a lot and they’ve the same performance.

I would also guess that fewer hypercars are road-legal (although most are)

Best answer by far. There’s a lot of really whack decisions when it comes to car classes in this game.

SL63 is somehow a super saloon instead of GT

here’s a good one, 2017 R35 is a modern supercar, but the 2020 R35 is a Track Toy

yes, Nissan GTR '20; it’s a reward-only car
There’s a couple at least that changed from fh4 to fh5. The Singer 911 from track toy to modern supercar and F12TDF from hypercar to super gt, iirc.

and in this case, the Nismo enhancements are what makes it a track toy I guess.
well, maybe, Nissan GT-R '95 is . . . drum roll for no reason whatsoever . . . Retro Sports Cars
the first two are Classic Sports Cars, then it’s Retro Sports Cars from 1987, from 2012 it’s Modern Supercars, the most recent is Track Toys
