I was just wondering if there are any documented cases of the super expensive cars winding up in Wheelspins. Like the Ferrari 250 TR or GTO. The Daytona Cobra and the like. Cars that cost 8m + credits.

Because it seems that lately I am getting more and more 2k / 7k rewards from wheelspins (or Escalade after Escalade) and it seems like it is going to take me forever to get to the point where I can achieve those cars through gameplay and credits. And the one car I had doubles of that I might have been able to sell for good money (Countach HE), they went and gave to everyone.

It would give me hope if the big ticket cars might show up someday in a spin. They are the only ones I don’t have. And at this point, I can only afford one, and as slowly as I have been making money, I might never afford another.

I think the most expensive car I have won in a spin is the Ferrari 365 GTB (cost 600K).

None of the Ferrari 250 series have ever been legitimately won from wheelspins in any Horizon game. The “highest value cars” you speak of only are indicated from Autoshow value. Include Auction House stats, work out an average, and put it up for auction. You can STILL bank over two mil from a Supra HE. The reasons why none of the 250 series are in wheelspins:

  1. They are so insanely rare in real life. Even if you set aside every other “realism” aspect Turn10/PG put into Horizon 3, it still makes sense why some kid at level 20 can’t win one from a wheelspin (assuming they’re “random”) and sell it on the Auction House because he doesn’t know the history behind the cars themselves. Which also goes into the second reason below.
  2. Nobody likes them because they think they’re “ugly”. Yes, even though the 250 line is to this day recognized as revolutionary, people only care about hypercars with 1,500+ HP and the demand is increasing day by day.

I was hoping that the wheelspins were adaptive, that at some point you could win higher value cars. I agree, giving them out at level 20 so some goofus can put 24" rims on it and sell it doesn’t make sense. But a real car nut like me closing in on level 500 who would appreciate it and actually just wants to drive it up the coast. Would have been nice. Instead, I get an Escalade every five or so levels.

And it’s kind of funny. I find nothing in the game more repulsive than that HE Supra (maybe the RX-7), and they are highly coveted. If I got one in a spin, it would be on the Auction House in less than 30 seconds. A 250 GTO is second only to the Jaguar XKE in terms of automotive beauty as far as I am concerned.

To each their own. I guess I have to come to terms that this game isn’t really designed with people like me in mind per se and I can just patiently wait for Forza 7.

  1. Not true because in FH3 Any car can be a 1500hp hypercar.
