The livery I’m using doesn’t have the wing fitted. I do play using auto with traction control and anti-lock brakes but that doesn’t explain why it’s so slow compared to the XY and other older cars. It was never a really popular car here any way and most people think it looks ugly with the color and huge wing.
To me it looks like the Supra was thrown into the pack in the nick of time cause it doesn’t show up in the Trailer nor there is any footage of it on the news.
Turn 10/Playground games reconsider your DLC policy please.
In my opinion, the best pack yet for Forza Horizon 3. The Toyota and Holden I can live without, but the rest rock. The GTO is cool even though I am not a huge GM fan, however, it gives me hope that we may see a Road Runner in the game, maybe. More vintage muscle for me. The Morgan is too cool, the others are pretty sweet too.
I give it a thumbs up!
I don’t care much for this pack at all. The AMG GT R is a nice touch as well as the Bentley, but overall bloody boring, ain’t it!? There have been vast improvements though in the physics engine, visual fidelity and sound, all in preparation for next week’s winter driving wonderland.
I only played around with the Morgan today, as it was the only one I was kinda excited about. After getting my hands on it, more than ever I want a FWD drivetrain swap in the game. Also, it might be the most ridiculously awful implementation of the generic Forza race wings yet. There’s not much to adjust as far as tuning, either. It’s aesthetically a neat little car, and alright to drive stock, but it doesn’t take much engine upgrading to make the TCS scream all the way to sixth gear.
Bentley - looks good, drives very nice stock actually. Kind of heavy which helps out with it’s RWD swap but keeping it in A-Class with any sense of drivatar difficulty gives things an extra challenge. In an all Bentley championship the stock Continentals simply do better in sharp corners with their AWD. A-Class is no the place to be for this beast. I might drive it around in stock form just a bit before I go play with it some more.
F-PACE: Really wanted this car in the game, and I’m excited it’s here. If Forza is going to be serious about having some performance trucks and SUVs then they need to get serious and add a couple. It’s a nice addition that I’ve been waiting for but I haven’t had a chance to drive around in it yet. Its very close in PI to the GTSR stock. Hopefully it’s not a disappointment.
GTO: We finally get a Pontiac in this game and thank goodness it’s not the Aztek. Love this car, love this year, and in FH3 I you can’t go wrong with a well built GTO.
GTSR: Who designed this? It looks awful. I’ve heard it drives pretty nice though but of all the cars I have to play with or don’t even have yet the only way this one will see any attention is if I need a car in a particular championship and driving this prevents me from having to buy one. Even then, I might just buy another car…
Morgan: I’m sure there are people out there who will take this car and make it into a fun little online vehicle that does ok. They did it with the Reliant, I don’t see this being much worse. It’s a fun little thing to play with and I’m curious to see how well it will LB across the map.
Mercedes: A little more aggressive looking, a little more power, a little more grip, a lot more green but basically a nice package on a car already in the game… And that’s just if you drive them stock…
Supra: Long time coming but a little disappointed for numerous reasons. Instead of new games with removed cars and features I’d rather continue paying for vehicle line-up expansions, and potentially map expansions. Definitely more so on the Motorsport side of things with tracks and cars that all work regardless of whether it is FM6, FM7, or FM8 but it’s creeping over into Horizon as well. Why keep paying for a game and DLC when each time they simply remove half the cars at launch and then add half of those removed back in and the other half are lost for the current title. Oh well, maybe 'll use this car maybe I won’t. Too much other stuff going on, everyone online will be trying to cram as much power as they can under the hood, and that’s not my thing so…
When first seeing the list on the webpage I wasn’t impressed at all but after giving all the cars individually (stock) a try I have to say it’s pretty well done and one of the most diverse packs the franchise has seen in recent years :
classic vs retro vs new
2-door vs 4-door
roof vs roadster
American vs European vs Asian vs Australian
heavy vs standard vs light
RWD vs AWD
4 wheels vs 3 wheels
concept vs production
gimmick vs normal
For a game that doesn’t pride itself on realism, I’m very disappointed in the fact that VERY iconic muscle cars are stuck with small ass 295 tires… The GTO, the Nova ect ect. I’m beginning to hate the game due to the little things that T10/PG do and on top of that they don’t bother fixing these little problems…
Yeah man, upgrades are almost all 10 year old leftovers served with some fresh sprinkles on it. Finally we have gotten some body kits and a exposed supercharger hood. So much more should get added. I’d be more than happy to skip a few new cars and have a January DLC of new upgrades. DRAG, drift, circuit, rally specific upgrades. Can’t express how happy I would be if either turn 10 or playground games would give drag some love!!
I doubt this will have any effect, but I feel like it needs to be said.
After October, November and now December’s Car Packs have been released, I have come be BITTERLY regret the money I spent on the Car Pass.
All three packs have been utter rubbish. Not a single interesting or cool car in the bunch. Seriously, you tease us with “something is missing” and give us a 70 year old car rather than a Polaris Slingshot?
50 variations of Jaguar and Ferrari is all well a good, but what’s the point of having Ferrari “this” instead of Ferrari “that”?
PLEASE!! if anyone is actually listening, give us some new and interesting cars, rather that 47 versions of the same thing next time.
If you want to repeat the Manufacturer, how about the other 2 Tesla models?
I would LOVE to actually see the Polaris Slingshot at some point. Some other actual Police vehicles would be awesome too. I know Ford has two new patrol models on the road right now. The Lexus SUV from Agents of Shield would be amazing even.
Give us something that looks unique, has some “Wow, I have seen one of those in a long time” appeal, and maybe stop pumping out “random sedan #42”.
In other words, “wah I didn’t get the car I wanted even though a lot of people did, but what’s important is that I get what I want and the packs get tailor-made for ME”
Yeah, there certainly seems to be some contention about this car pack. Although not particularly my cup of tea, the variety of additional vehicles is still nice. Plus, with the upcoming expansion, we’ll be getting even more vehicles along with a whole new area.
I do hope in the future though, that they further expand on the police concept. I think some cops and robbers-type scenarios or high speed chases would be pretty awesome. Not that I would complain if it didn’t come to fruition, it would just be cool.
