December Bounty Hunter Rivals and award cars

Christinaracing!

You’ll have to grab a livery for her new Porsche, car number 58 in GTD, shame she left Ferrari number 63.

You are very observant ! It’s very refreshing to run across someone on the forums who knows who she is and can put 2 and 2 together. Most of the focus falls on the GTLM and Daytona Prototype categories. I personally have been a diehard fan from the beginning, bookending all of her races flag to flag since she came to the states. Just wish I could have followed her early European races with the same thoroughness. Time zone differences and lack of easily available TV coverage made that difficult.

You are right though about her leaving Ferrari. Her and Balzan were a near unstoppable duo, but I am sure her and Patrick Long will get on well together.

P.S. If you happen to run across any past or current liveries of her cars, by all means drop me a PM. I search constantly for them only netting me MID LAND ZETA’s #63 from last year. Plus now on FM7 we have something close to the ASTON MARTIN she ran in her rookie season with the 2016 Aston Martin Vantage GT12.

Cheers and here’s to looking forward to the Rolex 24 At Daytona !!

GTD racing was very good last year. I think GTLM gets so much attention due to factory teams. They need more manafacturers imo. GTD had a lot and was more interesting yet not coveted much. The two prototype classes were kind of boring as all you need is a gm brand to be competitive or have a shot at the title.
Hopefully Joest will change that as well as the underdogs that performed well for much of the races.

Looking forward to Long and Nielsen teamong up. Should be a formidable duo.

Much happiness to see yet another fan of IMSA GTD and Miss Nielsen. Yeah you are right about the lack of teams / manufacturers in GTLM. The current field of cars in that class has several spots that could be filled. Hopefully things go much better this time for her at Daytona. When she had a 12 second lead in last years Rolex 24 with less than 2 hours remaining, only to suffer mechanical failure to her car I was devastated having watched all 22 hours leading up to that.

Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

It would be so easy to post something like:
Event will start at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time, or Pacific Daylight Time)
Event will end at 12:01 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time, or Pacific Daylight Time)

For those in other time zones:

All done.

This was my second time trying a challenge. I really enjoy getting the chance to push myself. The previous Mustang challenge seemed bit more engaging. This one was bit tougher to devote time to with the Holidays. Still very pleased we have these opportunities in the game. Sometimes they will go well and others will be tough. Win some lose some. Fun either way.

The Rear-Wheeled and Running rivals event is now closed as well. Clearly stated in the game menu as being open from 12/1 - 1/3 Midnight Pacific time. Seems that even specifically posted closing times mean nothing anymore. LOL

Clocked a 1.30.xxx back in mid December, so actually happy to have beaten the bounty this time around.

I put up a lap time, but I haven’t received the car yet. They say you didn’t need to beat the lap time. Did anyone receive their’s?

Not a major win but to my amazement i added P3 as a friend when event was open

PHIL’S TIMES
Dec. 23: 1:34.623 - final

MY TIME ON 3RD LAP
1:34.524 I THINK THIS IS IT

NOT MUCH IN IT BUT ENOUGH TO GET YOU BEAT RIVAL P3 UP RESULT FOR ME

I did a 1:30:6 or so but hey its nice to see for even slower racers to finally beat a bounty.
That Indycar Dude beated my sloth butt so did Dan after he turned of ABS.

So nice to see an easy Bounty again
I´m sure we get the car by end of the week.

I not to brag but I did a 1:26:7 clean. I could got a low 1:26 but any further was pointless because the over extensions of track limit was involved. I think this was one of the worst bounty because of track limits. You can literally cut a corner and make it clean. Blows my mind.

I beat him and did anyone notice Dan posted a time too? I beat him this time around as well. I could not do it last month.

Nope. Just wait. Sometimes it tooks some days. Drink a couple of tea and relax

When will the car be gifed

“soon”

I’m hoping the next bounty is on road America, love that track

Almost certainly won’t be, as the jnracer indycar bounty was on that track.

I want Alan Hartman in his Ford GT at Le Mans. And he agrees… https://twitter.com/Turn10_BigBoss/status/949034168742166528

Full Circuit de la Sarthe and I’m in!
