Q: “Will the game bring crossplay between xbox and pc??”

Awesome! I was worried, since the community is built on the Xbox side, the PC side would have a low population or all just all around bad experience.
As I intend to get this game for PC, this is excellent news.
The Xbox app on Windows 10 connects to Live just the same as the Xbox console does
Been playing apex a fair bit and know many on PC who do as well, think you’ll find quite a large community on PC as apex has had 651,382 people at least set a time on the 1st event.
Crossplay has been ok in FH3 and imo it’s about time this happened.
Either way FM7 will be bought by me just on the results I’ve seen in Apex and the info regarding wheels and controllers being tested already unlike FH3…
My hope is Crossfire/SLI gets full support as I really want to play in eyefinity myself 5900 x 1080 @ 144fps thank you very much
No triples support. Image will just stretch.
Hehehe, “5900 x 1080 @ 144fps” not gonna happen
In regards to the Rivals leaderboards in FM7, will both PC and Xbox One times be seen on the same leaderboard? Or will it be like FM6 where they are kept seperate?
Good Question.
Given FM6/Apex are technically two seperate entries and FM7 is crossplay, why wouldnt they be on the same board?
Take a look how horizon 3 works, i bett fm6 will be the same.
I dont play Horizon. Not my cuppa.
Oh don’t worry noone is forcing you to play it but since the game is already out you can find interesting things about it in forza horizon 3 forum.
The reason I ask is a comment made by Dan Greenawalt in the interview with IGN at E3 where he talks about ‘bringing in the PC competitive audience to FM7’.

Well the reason I asked was why do you want to segregate? Its not like its kbd & mouse vs controller. If anything controller will/would have the advantage especially in higher DOR cars (if running at 900 DOR on a wheel).
otherwise (from my perspective) you may as well separate wheel vs controller users instead of console vs pc.
Maybe I just dont understand?

That makes more sense to me too
I think I was more curious, but I do think it has pros and cons if the leaderboards are combined.
Time will tell

Previous games suggest it will be a non issue and tracks like iberian mini with fast switch backs are always controller dominated.
Will PC player’s be in the same online races with xbox players?
Or does play-anywhere just mean you can play the game in the PC or xbox…
[Mod Edit - thread merged - MM]
If it follows the way fh3 is setup yes they will be both playing together
Yes … FM7 is a cross-play title meaning that all players play in the same ‘world’.
