Correct Daytona Road Course pit exit

Something that bugs me in FM in particular on Daytona sportscar, and Laguna Seca are that the incorrect pitlane exit is used and the correct pit exits are blocked. This is not only unrealistic, but also causes unnecessary issues when cars rejoin as they are rejoining at a high speed point of the track (the whole reason the real exit isn’t there). Please fix this

I hope those anti cheat barriers will be unnecessary in the next Forza Motorsport.

Homestead Speedway pit exit is another track that is really bad and dumps cars directly onto the racing line rather than using the correct pit exit and having cars blend on the back straight.

After seeing the announcement today I noticed the Daytona road course still has a blocked off pit exit, which means that exiting the pits will put you directly into the path of cars at their absolute top speed. Please remove the barriers for this pit exit so that proper, safe exit lines can be used.

TORA has run a 24 Hour of Daytona race every year since Daytona came to the franchise in FM6 in 2015, and every year, without fail, there is an accident at T1 because cars come out of the pits straight onto the racing line. It’s almost been a decade! Can we please adjust this?

This needs to be rectified. We have the technology to punish people cutting the exit…

This is going to cause a lot of accidents

Should have been fixed before now! Please fix this Turn 10!

I understand that you could see that people would exploit that small section of the track or that when the open area of the pit exit has people cross into it would cause a game error or that people would intentionally drive into people’s cars still controlled by a AI causing them to get stuck. There are better solutions.

I cannot wait to get rear ended in GT and TC lobbies after exiting the pit cause my pit AI threw me out in the middle of the fastest slowdown corner on the track. I SURE love being on the APEX of a turn where players are coming in at 150-200mph into a braking zone. THANK YOU T10 for making this possible!

Yeah, Its called teleporting drivers back to the track. A feature that Gran Turismo has and uses to this day if players are driving in sections of the track that they should not. There is also this really cool feature called ghosting that T10 can make use of for cars in the pitlane, Which they already do.

Is it possible that race regulations, in their current implementation, can’t be manually configured to treat certain track limit violations more severely than others in specific situations like these?

I mean, cutting that small strip of grass probably wouldn’t seem significant to the current system. You’re only off track for a small amount of time, and it wouldn’t seem to gain much of a time advantage over the standard racing line.

If the true pit exit is going to be used, it may require manually placing a barrier that, if crossed, would result in a more severe penalty than the standard system would give you. I don’t know if frr has this functionality.

Im spitballing ideas here, I’d be surprised if they simply forgot it was the wrong exit.

Obviously needs to be fixed (along with pit exits at other tracks) but my guess is they never even acknowledge it as an issue, nevermind actually fix it.

Might be difficult to implement but if any circuit has multiple pit exits depending on track layout, we need that in the game

Need to be fixed asap

It’s quite obvious you guys have become lazy when it comes to the pit exit, it’s a hassle to race here with it! Please chance this to the REAL pit exit to we don’t look like 5 year olds going into turn one!

I agree. One of the most dangerous exits in forza in my opinion, and racing in the TORA Daytona 24 I have had moments while drivng the prototypes where the GT cars cut onto the racing lines and I’m having to go completely wide or off my line

Considering the track has been apart of the track roster since FM6, why is the proper pit exit STILL blocked off? The cars exit right into the path of oncoming cars and cause accidents.

Here is an example as to why this pit lane is extremely dangerous. Example video taken from RVN Royal Ace at the 2022 Daytona 24 Hour
